Prayer For Changes In My Life
Dear Father, I rejoice in the change that is taking place in my life. I know that it is only by Your grace and mercy towards me because You are not slow to fulfill Your promise to me as some count slowness, but You have been patient towards me, not wishing that I should perish, but that I should reach repentance. I thank You for the spiritual change that is working within me, Lord, thank You for the spiritual growth that has occurred in my life, Amen.
Righteous God, I pray that whilst I undergo changes in my life, I cling onto You word. My environment may change, people may come and go, time may pass, the grass withers, the flower fades, but Your word stands forever! Lord, I will immerse myself in Your word so that I may be equipped to deal with the changes that come. Father, I pray that when changes occur, the Scriptures will be a comfort to me, Amen.
Precious Lord, I pray that I keep my life free from the love of money and be satisfied with what I have. Righteous God, I pray that even in life's changes; even when I have not yet reached the desired destination, I will be satisfied in You! For You have said You will never leave me; You will never abandon me. Father, I thank You for being the source of my peace, Amen.
Oh Lord, I am unsure of where life is taking me right now, but I embrace the changes! I embrace the change because I know that You will lead me and be with me. I bless Your Name knowing that You will not fail me or abandon me, so I will not lose courage or be afraid. I will not worry because I know that You are in control, You see what changes I am going through because You are with me, Amen.
Eternal Father, I thank You because Your word is a lamp to guide me and a light for my path. I have declared change in my life and the season of transition has finally come upon me, but I rejoice knowing that I have the best guide You. Lord, You knew me before I was formed in the womb, therefore You know what is best for me. I pray that You continue to reveal to me, through Your word, where I should go, Amen.
Everlasting God, Your word commands me not to lie to those around me, since I have taken off my old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in the knowledge of its Creator. Lord, I thank You for the spiritual, emotional and eternal changes that have occurred in my life because of You. Thank You for having Your divine way within me so that I am forever free in You, Amen.
Dear Lord, I often spend my time worried and unhappy about things that may never happen, and yet I know that this is not only wrong in Your sight, but it is affecting me and my relationship with my friends and family.
Change me Lord, from the inside out, so that I do not fret and worry about things that may never happen, but help me rather to focus my mind on what is good and lovely. Enable me to give others the support and encouragement that they need, and not always expect others to address the needs and concerns that I have.
Lord, I know that I can never change on my own, but I know that when I allow You to work Your good work through me, I will show forth Christ's love in my life, rather than my own selfishness. Lord, I know that without You I cannot change, but I praise You that I can do all things, including changing my attitude, through Christ Who gives me the strength. Thank You, Lord, for Your everlasting grace towards me. In Jesus' name I pray,
Heavenly Father, I feel that I am stepping out onto the threshold of a completely new beginning with a total change in my lifestyle. Lord, I know that this is a wonderful opportunity that You have graciously opened up for me and I pray that You would be with me to lead and guide, as I seek to become accustomed to so many changes in my life.
I pray that You would remain ever close to me, and that I do not stray far from Your side or become lukewarm in my attitude towards the things of God. Help me to keep my eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and to trust all I say and do into Your capable hands. Provide I pray, all that I need to carry out the tasks and duties that I am called upon to do with grace and courage, and I pray that my joy would be firmly fixed in Jesus and that I may be strengthened with all power from above. In Jesus' name I pray,
