Prayer For Building A New Home
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for guiding us to this new home and for Your constant hand of blessing on us and on our family. We pray that Your peace and love will be poured out in great abundance on our home, and that You would be ever present with us, within its walls
Protect us we pray, from all the evil and dangers of this world and guard and guide us along the future path that You would have us take.
May Your constant love stream through the windows of our new home and into the hearts of all that live or visit here, and may the warmth of Your grace and Your perfect peace be our every present comfort in time of need.
Thank You for all Your loving-kindness and grace towards us as we dedicate this home to You, and pray that in Your grace, You would use it to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name we pray,
Amen.
All-powerful and merciful Father,
you have created all things through you Son
and have made him the unshakable foundation of your kingdom.
Through the gift of your eternal wisdom,
grant that the undertaking we begin today
for your glory and our own well-being
may progress day by day to its successful completion.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Sprinkle the construction site with holy water.
May the Lord almighty bless you
and kindly receive the desires of your hearts. Amen.
May the Lord give you trust in him,
so that you will do all things in his name. Amen.
May the Lord regard your work with kindness
and watch over your lives. Amen.
Lord Jesus
Let us build a house where love can dwell
and all can safely live.
A place where saints and children tell
how hearts learn to forgive.
Built of hopes and dreams and visions,
rock of faith and vault of grace;
here Your love shall end divisions:
all are welcome in this place.
Let us build a house where prophets speak,
and words are strong and true.
Where all God's children dare to seek

Here the cross shall stand as witness
and as symbol of God's grace;
here as one we name our faith in You;

a banquet hall on holy ground,

as we share in You the feast that frees us;

Let us build a house where hands will reach
beyond the wood and stone,
to heal and strengthen, serve and teach,
and live the Word they've known.
Here the outcast and the stranger
bears the image of God's face;
let us bring and end to fear and danger:
all are welcome in this place.
Let us build a house where all are named,
their songs and visions heard
and loved and treasured, taught and claimed
as words within the Word.
Built of tears and cries and laughter,
prayers of faith and songs of grace.
Let this house proclaim from floor to rafter:
all are welcome in this place.
Priest: Let us pray to the Lord.
People: Lord have mercy.
Priest: O God Almighty, Who made the Heavens with wisdom and has established the earth upon its sure foundations, the Creator and Author of all men, look upon these Your servants (Names), to whom it has seemed good to set up a house for their dwelling in the dominion of Your Power, and to rear it by building; establish it upon a stable rock, and found it according to Your divine word in the Gospel, so that neither wind, nor flood, nor any other thing shall be able to harm it; graciously grant that they may bring it to completion, and deliver all them who shall wish to dwell therein from every attack of the enemy; for Yours is the dominion, and Yours is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
I pray not specifically for building a new home. I'm just in need of a home from me and my 2 kids a boy and a girl. Lord the Bible says ask anything in your name and we shall receive. I'm asking you tonight Lord that
your will be done in Jesus name in providing us 3 a home of our own. Something we've never had. Something that has always been a dream. A home where I can be a Godly mother and teach and guide my kids through prayer, and
the word of God. I pray I worded this prayer correctly. Amen
Jesus,my lord, I surrender and pray for the successful completion of my house which is going to start tomorrow. Praise the Lord
Our Father, we thank You for Your faithful love for us that never ends and Your mercy which never ceases. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lord, You are God. You created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. You made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. You are the Lord and there is no other. You publicly proclaim bold promises; You do not whisper obscurities in dark corners. We thank You for giving our leaders the vision to build. Thank You for providing the resources for us to build. Thank You, Father, for being a wall of fire and protection around our congregation, families and those involved in the construction of this new building.
In Jesus' Name, we command that God's Kingdom come and God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven for the construction of the (name the facility) project. We believe that You will make our thoughts agreeable to Your will, so that the plans for this project may be established and succeed. Your Word, Father, declares that for lack of advice, plans go wrong; but with many advisers there is success. Therefore, we confess that we will seek the counsel of the godly as we proceed with this project. We declare that we will write the vision for this new project plainly so that those involved can run and carry the correct message to others. Father, we expect You to call forth competent and skilled laborers for this project, just as You called forth the artisans for the building of the tabernacle. We confess that they will be filled with the Spirit of wisdom, understanding and knowledge in all manner of workmanship. We proclaim that all involved in this project will focus their attention and efforts so that they can successfully complete their assignments and bring glory and honor to Your Name. We decree that favor surrounds this project and we will have good success with local, county and state government agencies, the legal and banking communities and every entity associated in the completion of this project. Father, we are confident that the new facility will be completed, because You have begun this good work. Lord, I commit to praying diligently for this project.
Our Lord and Savior, please bless this new building project to provide activities for our Church Family and the families in the community that will promote growth, development, relaxation and enjoyment. Please provide all of the wisdom, finances, and resources that we will need to build a state-of-the-art facility. We ask You to provide adequate funding, competent professionals, and skilled laborers for the construction. Father, stir up the faith in me so that I will walk by faith and not by sight and support this vision through my giving and prayers.
Wonderful Father, please forgive us for questioning the vision You have given to our Pastor, and for not submitting to his/her authority. Forgive us for having loose lips and speaking idle words against this project. Forgive us Lord for not coming together as a church body, concerning the building project. Please forgive us for all of our sins. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed.) Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He shows you, say aloud, I forgive name of person(s). Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
As a Church Family, help us to not yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours and this is Your Kingdom. We adore You as the One who is over all things. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
