Prayer For Blessing Food At Wedding Reception
Lord God Almighty,
Creator of the heavens and earth.
Thank you for the gift of marriage
For all the joy and love that it brings us.
We thank you for NAME and NAME
Thank you that you have brought them together for this special day,
And that you hold them safely in Your hands.
We pray that you would richly bless them as they exchange their vows and their wedding rings,
And from this day forward they would walk hand in hand into everything that you have destined them to be.
We give our hearts and beings to You now in adoration,
And welcome Your Holy Spirit amongst us.
Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, for this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Lord God, Father of us all, we have gathered here around this dinner table to celebrate the love and commitment that have united ___________________ and ____________________, in a wonderful bond of marriage.
Bless, Father, this banquet that we are about to receive with grateful hearts
as a sign of your continuous bounty and providence.
May your generous blessings descend also upon the newly married couple, their families and friends present here at this joyful occasion.

Heavenly Father,

We are all truly blessed to have witnessed the binding of their love under your great name. We ask you dear Lord to bless the newlyweds with excellent health, beautiful and healthy children, prosperity and blissful happiness all the days of their lives. And we also ask you dear God to bless the food we are about to partake, bless those who prepared it and those whom we are sharing it with.
