Prayer For A Troubled Child
Dear Lord,
I pray to you to help and protect my son who has drug and crime problem. Lord, he was in prison for three months but still has not learnt from his mistakes. I hear some people are after him as well. He is very abusive and is not willing to listen to me. Lord, I pray to you to guide me on how to handle this situation without getting angry. At times, when it got so tough, my faith got weaker my Lord. I pray to you to visit my home and put your loving arm around my son. My Lord, I also ask for your forgiveness for doubting you. In your holy name. Amen!
Lord, please show me that I have not made the biggest mistake regarding my son. Lord you know that I felt lost, unsure of what steps to follow, and how to react regarding my troubled teen. Lord, you know that I want the best for him but you also know that a mother should never be treated or talked to the way my son did. Now that I have left my son with his father I ask you to please protect him, guide him and please do not let allow him to continue in the negative path he was following. Please give his father the strength to show and guide his teenage son how to be a great man. Please forgive me Lord if I have made a mistake but I felt that it was getting worst. Thank you Lord for everything you have done and will continue to do. In your name I pray, Amen.
Dear Lord, I am asking you to help our son to have faith and beleive that he can recover from this illness. What ever path you put him on he will be sucessful. Lord I am asking for my family to have paients and understanding and work together, while we as a family go through this very difficult process . I believe only you can help us.

Please Lord, save my son. Send your Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen him. Send Your angels to surround and protect him from the evils of this world and within. Open his heart to Your merciful and wonderous love!

LORD, SOMETIMES I DON'T KNOW WHERE MY JOB AS A PARENT ENDS AND YOUR HEAVENLY GIFT AS SAVIOR BEGINS. GRANT ME UNDERSTANDING, SO THAT I MAY DO ALL THAT I CAN, AND NOTHING MORE.
LORD, KEEP MY FAITH BURNING BRIGHT. I BELIEVE IN YOU AND I BELIEVE IN YOUR POWER AND LOVE, BUT SOMETIMES I AM TEMPTED TO ACT IN YOUR STEAD. I HURT SO MUCH WATCHING MY SON DESTROY HIMSELF. GRANT ME FAITH, SO THAT I MAY RECEIVE YOUR GRACE AND ACT AS YOUR INSTRUMENT OF LOVE.
LORD, SAVE ME FROM DESPAIR. I GET OVERWHELMED SOMETIMES. MY WIFE AND MY KIDS NEED ATTENTION, LOVE AND SUPPORT, AND SO DO I. GRANT ME CLARITY SO THAT I MAY SERVE MY FAMILY, EVEN IN THIS DARK HOUR.
LORD, SHOW ME THE PATH I MUST WALK. SHOW ME WHAT GOOD WORKS I CAN DO TO SERVE YOU. I NEED YOUR GUIDANCE, AND ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES I FEEL RAGE, LORD, TRANSFORM MY ANGER INTO LOVE, AND USE ME AS AN INSTRUMENT OF YOUR PURPOSE.
LORD, LET MY SON FEEL YOUR LOVE. I BELIEVE THAT ONLY YOU CAN HEAL HIS WOUNDS. HE IS TROUBLED, HE HARMS HIMSELF, PLEASE; BRING HIM HOME.

Dear God, You are the author of all life. Father, You created our child (name), body and soul. The Holy Spirit breathed life into (name) at the moment of conception. The Son Jesus Christ has redeemed (name). Blessed Trinity, You have given this child to us as pure gift so that we may care for him/her and ultimately lead him/her into relationship with You.
Merciful Father, we implore You to pour Your mercy out upon (name). Father forgive him/her for he/she knows not what he/she does. May our prayers and sacrifices, united to Christ and perfected in His image, be lifted up to You as a perfect offering on behalf of our child. May these prayers also be laid before the Most Immaculate Heart of Mary so that she may intercede on behalf of (name). Lord, we trust that You will not deny a request of Your Mother Mary and so we entrust our child to her completely.
We ask that you send angels in sufficient rank, number, power and authority to fight any demons off and away from (name) so that in this very moment, the Holy Spirit may come down upon him/her, interrupting his/her day, and convict his/her heart. May the loving touch of Your Heavenly grace enable him/her to turn back to You.
St. Michael the Archangel, lift away and hold back the veil of confusion that covers over (name) so that his/her heart may be continually softened and opened to the Truth. St Gabriel the Archangel, deliver the message of Jesus Christ to (name), so that the Good News may be proclaimed and heard by him/her this very day. St. Raphael the Archangel, bring about complete healing to the body, mind and soul of (name), so that he/she may be restored and renewed as a beloved child of God.
Lord, as parents and guardians of (name), we consecrate him/her to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Most Chaste Heart of Joseph. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, help us to persevere in faith, hope, and love.

I come to you in prayer, giving you
my son Derek . God wrap your loving arms around him. Father my son is 21 years old, he has many trial and tribulations in his life. He is battling drug addition, lieing, stealing from family and friends to meet his drug needs. God please remove all the evil influences in his life and the evil spirits. I pray that you will open his heart, mind and give him strength to make better choices in his life. That he will turn to you in prayer, give him guidance and wisdom to listen to you. To choose a righteous path.

Dear Lord, you have witnessed the rebelliousness of youth since the very beginnings of time. You understand a parent's anguish and helplessness over the actions of his child. Please help us to transform our anger and frustration into loving care for our child who has gone astray. Help us begin to mend our broken fences and heal our broken hearts. Bless our child and also help him to mend the error of his ways. Help and bless us all to do right in Your name and restore us to peace and tranquility. Amen.
