Prayer For A Husband With A Hard Heart
I will exalt You, my God the King; I will praise Your name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom. The LORD is near to me and I call on You, in truth. Hear my prayer, O Lord; let my cry for help come to You. Do not hide Your face from me when I am in distress. Turn Your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly. You will fulfill the desires of those who fear You; You hear my cry and save me and _____ (spouse and loved ones' names).
I have faith in You Lord and You said, "If anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him." Lord, You know my mountain of circumstances in my marriage. So I am believing You, that whatever I ask for in prayer, I have received it, and it will be mine. And when I stand praying, if I hold anything against anyone, I forgive them, so that my Father in heaven may forgive me of my sins. Lord, with man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.
Lord, I thank You that I am strong in the Lord, and in His mighty power I put the full Armor of God on myself and on _____ so that we can take a stand against the devil's schemes. Lord, thank You that You will block _____'s wrong pathways with thornbushes; You will wall them in so that they cannot find their way. They will chase after their lovers but not catch them; they will look for them but not find them. Then they will say, 'I will go back to _____ as at first, for then I was better off than now.' My prayer is that You will open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to You, so that they may receive forgiveness of their sins and be sanctified by faith in You. Thank You Lord, that You will break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them. You will search for Your lost and bring back the strays. You will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak. My prayer is _____ will repent and be baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins. And _____ will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for _____ and our children and all who are far off - for all whom the LORD our God will call.
You are the Good Shepherd, You know Your sheep and Your sheep know You. I praise You, Father that You will give _____ an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them. Thank You that will remove _____'s heart of stone and give _____ a heart of flesh. Thank You Lord that _____ will not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of their mind. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give both of us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that we may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of our hearts will be enlightened in order that we may know the hope to which He has called us. You are our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.
I pray that You may strengthen us with power through Your Spirit in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. Lord, I know You are able to do immeasurably more than all I can ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within me. Lord, remove our sinful natures, and fill us with the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Lord, I pray that You will turn all the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Lord, I hate divorce as You hate divorce. Lord, _____ and I are one flesh, and are no longer two, but one. Therefore what You have joined together, let man not separate. Thank You Lord that it is Your will that we should be sanctified; that we should avoid sexual immorality; that we should learn to control our own body in a way that is holy and honorable. For You did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
Lord, breathe on our dead marriage and it will come to life. Then the nations around us that remain will know that the Lord has rebuilt what was destroyed and has replanted what was desolate. The Lord has spoken, and You will do it. Lord, thank You that You will come to me and fulfill Your gracious promise to bring us back to Your place. For You know the plans You have for us. Plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. Then I will call upon You and come and pray to You, and I will listen to You. I will seek You and find You when I seek You with all my heart. You will find _____ and will bring them back from captivity. For nothing is impossible with God. I am blessed as I believe what the Lord has said to me will be accomplished! Praise the Lord. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for my dear family and all that you have blessed me with. I pray for my husband today. May you fill him with your peace and strength. I pray that his day goes great and that you are able to spend time with him. Reveal yourself to him in marvelous ways Lord. I pray that you guard his heart and his mind from the temptation in the world. May you also soften my husband's heart in response to me and our marriage. May you soften my heart towards him. I pray that any barriers be let down, that we would communicate better to each other, and that we would live as a team for you. May you move through our marriage and may your will be done in Jesus' name AMEN!
Jesus, I know that for my husband to love me, he first has to love You. Speak to his heart. Whisper to him in the moments that most matter. Show him he can trust You. Love on him so strongly he never has the need to look for another. Be his everything.
Lord, this first prayer isn't really for my husband, it's for me. I just want to thank You for giving him to me and me to him. You knew what You were doing all along. His traits that used to drive me crazy are now the strengths that fill in where I struggle. His traits that used to seem like weakness are now the places You've allowed me to shine. We complement each other. When I let You be the glue, we're stronger together than we ever were apart. Thank you for putting my husband in my life.
Father,
Please turn my husband's heart into flesh and return him to me. I pray for full restoration in our marriage and much better than before. I rebuke the enemy from his strongholds against my husband and the people that are encouraging our separation/divorce. I pray for peace in our home. I pray that my husband's love for me will be stronger than before. Please end his seek in wanting to live the single life again into wanting to be whole with his family. Bring peace into our marriage. Remove the anger, the bitterness, the frustration, and any other emotion that my husband may be feeling towards me.
Father, I know these emotions are of the enemy, so I rebuke them right now in the name of Jesus! I declare there be joy, peace, love and unity like never before in our marriage. These things I pray in the name of Jesus, I declare and decree them to be so in your name Father. Amen
Dear HEAVENLY FATHER JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD I need a miracle.
I'm praying today for my (spouse) and family.
First I want to pray for myself to have a clean heart and new spirit.
Help me first before I can pray for my (spouse).
Please make me the (husband/wife) you want me to be in your eyes.
Lord help (him/her) fight the evil forces that cause (him/her) not to see the right path.
My (husband/wife's) heart needs you.
Bless (him/her) and bring (him/her) close to you in your own ways to get her to know you again.
My family needs strength to get through this.
Please bind and cast away any evil forces surrounding our family especially my (husband/wife).
Protect (him/her) from any bad influences that are in (his/her) mind, heart, body and soul.
Wrap (him/her) in your blood and armor.
Please save our family and remove this burden from our lives.
Soften (his/her) heart and bring her to your arms and ours.
Help (him/her) bring down the walls built between us.
Dear God please intervene in our marriage and reconcile our relationship.
Help my children get through this and heal their pain as well as our parents who are feeling this burden themselves.
Parents don't want to see their sons and daughters in pain.
Father I also pray that you give me strength, guidance, and patience.
Please restore love and happiness in our family.

Father, thank You that You have given my husband a heart that is teachable. Even when he is unwillingly to change his views or ways, You have not given him a heart of stone, but of flesh, and You, O Lord, have abilities beyond measure to soften his heart, making it pliable to Your will and Your ways. Create in my husband a new heart and a steadfast spirit. (Ps.51:10)
Teach him Your way so that he will walk in Your truth. Give him an undivided heart; not entertaining both good and evil. (Ps.86:11) A good man brings good things out of the goodness of his heart, and the evil man evil things out of his heart.(Luke 6:45) Let my husband stand firmly and correctly in goodness.
You have said,I, the Lord, search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve. (Jer.17:9-10) Search his heart, Sweet Jesus. Ever so gently, search his heart. Test him and know his thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in him. Convict him in any areas where he needs to grow more gentle, loving, kind, humble or repentant. Guide him into Your everlasting way.(Ps.139:23-24)
When You test him and the road gets hard, don't let his heart be troubled.Prove Yourself to him so his trust in You may be established,further purifying his heart by faith. (John 14:1; Acts 15:9)
May those who scorn Your name or are far from You, see the good in my husband by his acts of humble service, making You appealing to all. May he find honor and respect in his life, his work, and his relationships. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Lord, I pray who ever reads this prays a small prayer for us, please lord work your loving hands into my husbands heart and soften and fill it up with love, for you and me, for him to awaken from this fog of hate and anger, and allow peace and joy to enter his heart once again, I ask for the healing of his heart and mind, and the ill feelings he has towards me to be lifted and burned away, and if anyone is interferring in the restoration of our marriage for them to open their heart and eyes, and realize that what they are doing is wrong. I ask that my husband will accept help from a professional who is for marriage and healing and self perservation, and bring him closer to you like never before, in Jesus name I pray, Amen. Because God said it shall be done! Amen
