Prayer For A Job
Lord, I am coming to you today with a very heavy heart filled with regret over the past and what has happened. In all honesty, I am anxious about the future. I am out of work, and my finances are in a lot of trouble. I have made many mistakes. Help me to forgive myself, and others, so that I may make amends with all concerned in this matter, and in other matters as well. Grant me peace of mind, so I can fill my life with Your goodness and grace. Guide me toward a good job where I may fulfill my needs as a better and wiser person. I ask these things in Your name. Amen.
Precious Lord, please be with me today in finding new employment. Lead me to work that I love, and that has value in my life. Guide me to a place with an atmosphere of respect and cooperation, in a safe and happy environment with a loving staff. Help me to find fulfillment mentally and financially as I move into this position. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I want to lift up the many men and women who are seeking jobs in this very difficult economic climate and especially those that I know personally, who are finding such difficulty is securing a job.
Lord You are the One Who can know every sparrow that falls to the ground and You are the One Who knows the various needs of every job seeker. .. so open the doors of opportunity to those who are in need we pray, and particularly for those who have families to support, and who may be getting discouraged and depressed.
Look down in mercy on the many job seekers and may many use this difficulty that they are facing to be the cause of looking to You in faith trusting in You in a way that they have never done before. Be gracious we pray, in Jesus name,

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You today in real need of employment and am getting concerned as I have been out of work for some time, with few opportunities of securing any job.
You know the responsibilities I have, and I ask Lord that You would guide me to the right job. I know that there are many people who are in the same situation as I am in, and at times Lord I get quite discouraged. Please help me Lord not to be anxious, but to know that You are working all things according to Your good plan. Lord, at times I feel I am not part of Your plan, and yet I know what the Word tells us, that You will work all things together for good to those that love You, even my jobless position.
Help me to trust You in all things and not to fret or become too discouraged. I know we are to live by faith and not by sight. Help me Lord to trust in You. I ask this in Jesus' name,

Lord, Thank you that you have good things in store for those who love you, for those who have been called according to your purpose. Thank you for the gifts and talents that you have given me. Even before I was born your hand was at work in the very fabric of my being and through my adult years you have stood by me and provided for me in good times and in times of need and crisis. I reach out you now O God and ask that you would lead me to the right job. Open my heart as I search for the right kind of work. Protect my mind, cover my thinking, That my mind might be alert to your leading and my spirit sensitive to your promptings. I pray that you would open a door to a job which brings fulfillment and happiness. A job which not only provides for my needs but enables me to give freely to the needs of others. A job which extends the reach of your work, your kingdom and your will on this earth today. I ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus, My loving Saviour and Friend, Amen.
Applications can be overwhelming and even intimidating. So Go, I ask that you help me to be confident in the skill, individuality, and gifts that you have given me. That I may complete my application in confidence knowing that I have something to offer and that you are with me making sure I get the job that is just for me.
Help me gather all the information needed for the application and to relay my thoughts in away that is personable yet professional. Help me to see what the specific employer needs so that I may tailor my application to fit their qualifications.
Dear God, I thank you that your word says that you know what I need before I ask. I am seeking employment and trusting you to place me in the best position. Not only to meet my financial needs but to contribute to my success in future endeavors.
I ask that this position be in alignment with the schedule I need so that I may remain faithful in all other personal and professional commitments. I know that you have a job for me, and I will trust you in getting me there.
Dear God, I thank you that you have a job for me, and I know that in whatever position you place me, I will be blessed. I am blessed when I come and when I go, and I know that I am above only and not beneath. You have blessed me and called me your own.
I know that my success is found in you and you have given me the ability to perform my job with excellence. It is in you that I receive promotion, increase and success and I thank you that your blessing and favor will be awaiting me at the new job that you have for me.
