Prayer For A Good Diagnosis
Faithful Father, I confess that I'm a little nervous about this recent screening, even though I know that it is routine for a person my age. Help me to be calm, and not even think about the test until the results come in, and just spend my time praising Your Name and exalting You with thanksgiving. Lord, I place my faith in You. I trust in Your compassionate care for me. Amen.
Gracious God, as I wait for the results of this testing, I pray that You would build up my trust in You. Help me have that childlike faith, believing in Your mercy and Your great power, so that no matter whether I get a good report or a bad one, I know it'll be okay. Lord, You are my help and my deliverer. May You be magnified in my life. Amen.
God of Miracles, I stand in confident and joyful expectation that these labs will show that all my numbers are returning to normal and that I am being set free from this evil disease. Lord, this disease has threatened to take my life, but I pray that You will repel it and cause it to retreat from my life. Lord, please do this to the glory of Your Name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, You know how fearful I am as I await the results of this biopsy. Please don't let it be cancer, Lord! Let it come back as benign, Lord, but even if it doesn't, You are still sovereign over this situation. You walk with me through the fire. And You take what is meant for evil and turn it around for good. In You, oh Lord, I have taken refuge. Amen.
Lord, my Protector and Preserver, I pray that the results of this testing will help my medical team know how to proceed with my treatment. And Lord, You are my Great Physician. I thank You that You sustain me on my sickbed, and You will restore me from this illness. You will deliver me from this time of trouble. You will refuse to surrender me to the evil plans of the adversary. Amen.
God of Grace and Mercy, You heal all diseases. There is no disease that You cannot heal. Lord, I pray that You will glorify Your Name as You do a healing work in my body. Let this blood test come out normal. Lord, may the results come back quickly. And may this fear that is coming upon me be displaced by a firm faith in Your love and Your Word. Amen.
God of Healing, Guide your physicians, nurses, and healers to discover the cause of my illness. Help me stay calm in the face of fear and keep a positive mind and spirit in the face of uncertainty. Also, Lord, I ask your help to feel your strength within me but not to be so strong that I cannot tell those who love me when I really need them close.
All this I ask in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Dear Lord, as my loved ones and I await the results of medical tests about my affliction, let us offer you our anxieties for our good and your glory. Calm us in our worries, knowing these don't add wisdom but rather stress to this situation. Enlighten us, though the power of your Spirit, to make wise decisions as to treatment. Help us not to turn away from You in these fragile, painful moments, but rather towards you for grace and strength. Comfort us in seeking you now as we place all our concerns in your loving hands as we say Thy Will Be Done.
