Prayer For A Friend In Need Of Strength
ust like it's important that we pray for our families, it's also important that we ask God to protect our friends, particularly when they're going through trials in their life. They need your love and encouragement and prayer can do that. We don't know all the challenges our friends may be facing today, but we know that God knows everything. He hears their silence and their prayers. If you want to pray for strength in your friends life, pray this prayer: Heavenly Father, I come before You today knowing that all power is in Your hand. I know that You are the Lord and that You care for Your people. Right now, my friend is struggling with a difficult trial. I can see his/her strength is faltering, Father, and know that You have all the strength that he/she needs. I pray that You will reach down and touch her/him right now wherever she/he is at this moment. Thank you for being with them in this difficult time. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Our God has worked in history to defeat sin and Satan and hell and death. He did this through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has the power to strength your mind, body and spirit if you allow Him to be at work in your life. If you're ready for God to step in and transform you from the inside out, pray this prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask you to strengthen my mind, body and spirit today. When I'm weary, may I be refreshed. When I'm worn, may I be renewed. When I'm broken, may I be restored. When I'm fearful, may I become faithful. I pray that I walk in complete confidence today knowing that the Lord Almighty is with me. Amen.
Heavenly Father,

Be to her - comfort.
Be to her - peace.
Be to her - inspiration.
Be to her - motivation.
Bless her this day and this week and this month and this year.
Bring to her deep healing from all her emotional wounds.

Correct that which needs correcting.
Heal that which needs healing.

Lord, you are Holy above all others, and all of the strength that I need is in your hands.
I am not asking, Lord, that you take this trial away. Instead, I simply ask that Your will be done in my life. Whatever that means, that is what I want.
But I admit that it's hard, Lord.
Sometimes I feel like I can't go on. The pain and the fear are too much for me, and I know that I don't have the strength on my own to get through this.
I know that I can come to you, Jesus, and that you will hear my prayer. I know that it is not your intent to bring me to this point just to leave me in the wilderness alone.
Please, Lord, give me the strength that I need to face today. I don't have to worry about tomorrow.
If you just give me the strength that I need today that is all I need.
Keep me from sinning during this trial. Instead, help me to keep my eyes on you. You are the Holy Lord, and all of my hope rests in you.

Dear Heavenly Father, how I thank You for being our unfailing Source of strength and courage. I lift up my friend to you now, asking that you would strengthen her in the face of every trial; equip her for every battle; alert her to every temptation; and gird her with Your strength and courage as she fulfills each calling and task you have ordained for her. May she not rely on her own strength, but instead run to You each day for Your promised provision. It's in the Name of my Savior, Jesus Christ, that I pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we recognize that You are a shelter in a time of storm. You are our strength when we are weak. You are the one who lifts us up and makes us soar on wings like eagles. Trusting Your promises, God, I ask that You would grant that strength to my friend right now who is going through a tough time in his/her life.
Give him/her the means to overcome these obstacles, God. Let him/her look to You in this time of trouble. May You also protect his/her heart from worry; instead, enable him/her to fully rely on You. Be his/her comfort, Lord, in this trying time.
As my friend undergoes this challenge, allow him/her to gracefully endure each and every step. Guide his/her way, God, that they may always walk the right path. Would you also grant him/her Your wisdom so that every decision he/she makes is a sound one. May Your Holy Spirit also be his/her constant reminder of his/her ultimate source of strength. All these I pray in Your Name, Amen.
