Prayer For A Friend In Pain
Almighty God, we entrust all who are dear to us to thy never-failing care and love, for this life and the life to come, knowing that thou art doing for them better things than we can desire or pray for; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
May the Lord be your solid rock. May He be your refreshing fountain. May the Lord be with you always. May you rise and soar on eagle's wings.
Father, please watch over my friend, keep her safe, comfort her through this hard time.May your love settle upon her, may she dwell in your acceptance and truth. Might she rest in your peace and find restoration in your care. Lead me as I seek to care for her. Please give me words of wisdom, awareness of how to help and the tenderness to just "be" with her. Give me the insight to understand all she is feeling. Come watch over us now, Lord.
My prayer for you dear friend is that the Lord will turn your weeping into dancing. He will give you a reason to not just smile but laugh again. The Lord will see you through this difficult situation and comfort you on all sides.
This pain is hard to bear.
Draw near me.
Stand between me and this suffering.
Alive, Risen with hope anew,
I fall upon your promises
And ask for healing
In Jesus name.
Lord, I feel worn down by the pain in my back. It makes every small thing feel like a big deal. Please help me to manage this illness and continue to find time to rest and treat the pain. Most of all Lord please touch the area of discomfort and bring healing. Please flood the inflammation with warmth and bring the swelling down. Come release the muscles that are tight and bring your restoration.
May my waking hours be restful and my sleep be peaceful.
I ask all this in the name of Jesus, my Saviour and my friend.
As the Lord remembered Hannah and opened her womb, the Lord will remember you, my friend for good. He will cause His face to shine upon you. He will quickly arise for your help and all your past pains will be forgotten in Jesus' mighty name.
I wish I could take away their pain. It is so hard to see them suffer and not know how to help. So I came before you God, our restorer, and our redeemer. I know that you took their pain upon yourself when you died on the cross. So I ask in your name for healing for them. Come now in the power of the Holy Spirit and restore this child of yours. I pray they no longer have to bear this weight on their shoulders. I pray that they also look to turn themselves to you during their time of struggling.
