Prayer For Addicted Child

Father God,

My heart feels overwhelmed and burdened as I lift up prayer for my child.

Refresh me and refocus me.

Remind me of the Power of Prayer.

Remind me of the Power of speaking out your Word.

Remind me of your great love for my child, for me, and for all of my family.

I will turn my attention away from my emotions and toward your infinite LOVE and POWER.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Almighty God,

I lift up prayer for my child.

He needs to give his whole life to you.

Help him hear you calling out to him.

Direct his attention toward you and your Scriptures.

Shower _______ with Wisdom and Hope.

Fill him with the strength of an Overcomer!

Steady his feet - and focus his mind on Freedom and Victory through Jesus Christ.

Loving Lord,

I come into your throne room seeking help from you.

My child needs help.

And I need help to be a Powerful Parent who walks each day in Amazing Faith!

Move people out of his life - and move people into his life - in order to protect him, bless him, and direct him.

May your desires for his life become his desires.

I pray in Jesus' name,

I lift up my child to you in prayer.

Awaken my child to your Love and your Power.

I fervently pray that today my child would come to the end of his/her wayward journey of addiction and begin to run to you.

Do miracles, Lord.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Dear Lord Jesus, our heart is breaking with grief because our precious child has gone down the route of addiction. They have left home and are now living rough in the streets and seem to have become an entirely different personality. Lord, we have not seen them now for many months and we are filled with great sadness. But we are trusting You Lord to work a miracle.
Look down Lord Jesus in pity on our dear child, convict them of their wrongdoing and restore a right mind within them. Protect them Lord, from the dangers that surround them and bring them home Lord we pray.
Lord, there is nothing that we can do but to trust You, and we do trust You Lord to turn our child right round and return them home. Into Your hands we commit this great sadness and pray that the return of our precious prodigal will take place very soon, and we will give You all the praise and glory,
