Scripture Reading

John 11:33-35

When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled. And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept.
Reflection
The shortest verse in the Bible contains one of its deepest revelations: God weeps with those who weep. Jesus did not simply manage the situation at the tomb of Lazarus — he was moved, troubled, and he cried. Our griefs do not leave him unmoved. Whatever loss you carry today, he has stood before the tomb with you and wept.
Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, we pray that You will lay your healing Hands upon all those who are sick. We beg You to have compassion on all those who are suffering so that they may be delivered from their pitiful circumstances. In Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Amen.
