Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
Reflection
Jesus does not give this promise to a select few but to everyone — ask, seek, knock. The verbs are present imperatives: keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. Prayer is not a single transaction but a sustained turning of the heart toward a Father who is already listening. Whatever burden you carry today, bring it.
