Prayer For Your Loved Ones

Gracious heavenly Father, when confronted by health problems, I am reminded how dependent we all are on your sustaining power. I turn away from the worldly wisdom that says I can be in control and turn to you instead. I bring my loved one before you now. You can bring health to their body and nourishment to their bones. You can restore their strength, you can give them hope in their struggle. Thank you that I can entrust everyone I care about in your loving hands. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, King of Kings, you say that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. I often pray with little faith because I am thinking about my own unrighteousness. Remind me that my sins have been atoned for and I am clothed in your perfect righteousness. I pray based on confidence in your righteousness, not my own. Your power is great enough to heal any illness and I bring my loved one before you now and ask you to extend your healing hand. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Heavenly Father, your word says that if anyone is in trouble, they should pray. If anyone is happy, they should sing songs of praise and if anyone is sick, their brothers and sisters in Christ should pray for them in the name of the Lord Jesus. I want to pray for the healing of my loved one. You say that the prayer that is offered in faith will make the sick person well so I offer this prayer in faith to you. My faith is not in the strength of my prayer of in anything that I can do but my confidence is in your character and power. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen

Lord, Jesus Christ, you are the God of compassion. As crowds gathered around you, they begged you to let the sick just touch the edge of you cloak. You did not turn them away but looked on them with compassion and healed them. I bring my loved one to you now and ask you to look with compassion and heal once again. You have the power to turn any situation around. We cry out to you with the faith that knows that you are the same yesterday, today and forever. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

God of all hope, I look to you in times of need. You are the healing God, please bring healing to my loved one. You are the saving God, please save those who I care about so deeply. You are worthy of all praise, help us not to turn our back on you but to approach you with thanksgiving. You are the spring of living water, help us find life in all its fullness in you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Dear God,

Thank you for your great love and blessing over our lives. Thank you that your favor has no end, but it lasts for our entire lifetime. Forgive us for sometimes forgetting that you are intimately acquainted with all of our ways, that you know what concerns us, and you cover us, as with a shield. We ask for your guidance so that we might walk fully in your blessing and goodness today. We ask that your face would shine on us. That you would open the right doors for our lives and for our loved ones, that you would close the wrong doors and protect us from those we need to walk away from. Establish the work of our hands and bring to fulfillment all that you have given us to do in these days. We pray that you would make our way purposeful and our footsteps firm out of your goodness and love. Give us a heart of wisdom to hear your voice, and make us strong by your huge favor and grace.

In Jesus' Name,

Amen.

Dear God,

We're thankful that you know our hearts, you hear our prayers, and you care about all that concerns us. Thank you that you understand these burdens we carry and how we want, more than anything, to see our loved ones come to you. Help us to remember that you love them more than we ever could. And that you desire to extend your great love and forgiveness to the deepest part of their soul. We are forever grateful for your healing power, for your gift of mercy, and your message of hope.

Thank you Lord that nothing is too difficult for you. Thank you that your power is unlimited, and you came to set the captives free. Thank you that you wait, arms open, for the prodigal to return, that you look for his arrival to lavishly celebrate that he's come home.

We praise you for you are Redeemer and Rescuer, Savior and Lord. We know and believe that there's no pit so deep that your love can't reach us still. We understand that your mercies are new every morning, and your faithfulness is great.

Dear God, we ask that you would stop every plan of the enemy over those we love as we bring them before you right now. We pray that you demolish his schemes and that your plans for good, for a future and hope, would prevail. Please open up blind eyes that they might see your truth. We believe in you to rescue those walking in darkness, and to heal the deep wounds of all who have been hurt. We pray for the miraculous intervention of your Spirit to draw them to yourself, to work strongly on behalf of our loved ones who are lost and wandering.

For you came with good news, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for captives and release for the prisoners. Though we deserved penalty for our wrong, you stood in our place and took the blows on our behalf. You chose to die so that we can live forever, and we could be free.

Lord, forgive our unbelief. Please forgive the times we've doubted that you could ever change a distant heart. Forgive our hard-heartedness, our weariness, or forgetfulness to pray continually. And thank you God, that you never give up on us. Remind us again of how you've changed our own hearts; how your miracle of life and hope has sprung up deep within our souls.

We love you Lord; we need you today and every day. We thank you that you hear our prayers and believe that you are at work even now. Powerfully. Faithfully. And miraculously. Doing what only You can do.

Thank you again for the most wonderful gift of our Savior, God with us. Thank you for your great goodness and love.

In Jesus' Name,

Amen.

I confess it to you oh Lord
That I may not show my love
To people I am with in life
But deep down I am concerned
I want the best for them in strive
Today I pray for all the people
Who have made my life so special
Bless them oh Lord in life
Grant your mercy to them
So that they won't ever have to cry
Help them in pain and when they try
Bless them oh Lord as I ask you this
Your love is needed the most!
