Prayer For Worship Service Sample
Holy Spirit, we pray that You would reveal to us any unconfessed sin in our hearts. Father, we confess our sins before You and we thank You because You will be faithful and just and will forgive us. Father, we pray that You would purify us from all unrighteousness; and we ask it in Jesus' name.
Lord Jehovah, Self-Existent One, we thank you that you created us, you know us and you love us. We are fully known and completely loved by you. Though we fail you, you have never turned your back on us, you remain faithful forever. Lord Jesus Christ, we praise you for your sacrificial love. You lived the perfect life we could never live and died the death that we deserved so that we can be forgiven and live for eternity with you. Holy Spirit, we thank you that you convict us of our sin, assure us of your forgiveness and empower us for our lives. Triune God, we glorify you today. Amen
Father, we pray in Jesus' name and ask that You would clean our hands and purify our hearts so that we may ascend to the hill of the Lord and stand in Your holy place
O Lord, our Rock and Redeemer, guide our thoughts and our words in our discussions today. Let our hearts be filled with your praise. Let us never forget the good things you do for us. You have forgiven our sins. You have rescued us from death. You have crowned us with love and tender mercies. Renew our strength and refresh our souls. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Father, we pray today in Jesus' name that You would send forth Your light and Your truth, let them guide us, let them bring us to Your holy mountain to the place where You dwell. Then we will go to the altar of God, to God our joy and our delight.
Mighty God, everything you do reveals your glory and majesty. Open our eyes to see what you are doing in our lives. Let us marvel at your good gifts and your wise provision. Your acts are amazing Lord. We can not comprehend the number of blessings you pour out on us from day to day. As we gather today around your name, we pray that you would fill our hearts, our minds and our souls. Transform us Lord, and make us more like you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord God Almighty, we praise you for who you are and what you have done. You are the healer, bring healing in this place. You are our righteousness, bring transformation in this place. You are the provider, increase our trust in you. You are the God who is with us, let us enter your presence. You are the Lord of Hosts, bring victory in our struggles. You are the God of Peace, bring comfort in our chaos. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Father, as the deer pants for streams of water, so our soul pants for You, God, our soul thirsts for You. We hunger for You, Father, and we long to come and meet with You.
