Prayer For Work To St Joseph
God our Father and our Creator, You bestow on
Us gifts and talents to develop and use in accord with Your will.
Grant to me, through the intercession of St. Joseph the Worker,
As model and guide, employment and work, that I may with dignity,
provide for those who depend upon me for care and support.
Grant me the opportunities to use
my energy and my talents and abilities
for the good of all,
and the glory of Your name. Amen
O St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus Christ and true spouse of the Virgin Mary, pray for us and for the suffering and dying of this day/night.
Saint joseph foster father of Jesus Christ Our Lord, so graceful Father, Spouse of the Virgin Mary, your whole life was saint and just, that is why no fear could have disturbed, when you were dying, your desire for Heaven. Saint Joseph, special patron of the dying persons, I commend my soul living and dying. When my life is approaching its end, implore for me, with Mary, your Holy Spouse and our Mother, the grace of your divine Son, so that, faithful, with strong hope and with ardent charity, let the prince of darkness have no power over me and yield up my soul in the sweetest peace in the arms of the Father, after receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Amen.
Saint Joseph, foster-father and protector of Jesus Christ, spouse of the blessed Virgin Mary the Mother of God, powerful protector of the Holy Church, to you do I raise my heart and hands to implore your powerful intercession. You searched nothing else in this world but the glory of God and the good of others. You gave yourself completely to the Savior, it was cause for joy to pray, to work, to sacrifice yourself, to suffer, to die for him. You were unknown in this world even though Jesus knew you very well, he would look at your simple and hidden life with complacency. Saint Joseph, you have helped so many people so far I come to you with great trust. In the light of God you can see what misses me, you know my worries, my difficulties, my sorrow. I commend to your fatherly sollicitude this specific task... (find employment for example). I am placing it in your hands that saved child-Jesus. Ask for the grace to never separate me from Jesus by the mortal sin, to know him ant love him even more and his blessed Mother, to always live in the presence of God, to do anything for his glory and the good of other souls, and one day to reach the beatific vision of God to praise him eternally with you. Amen.
Loving God, you created the human race and know each one of us by name. Through
Christ you have chosen us to be your sons and daughters, and to build up your Kingdom
on earth. Give us work so that we may share our talents with others and know the dignity
and satisfaction that you give us through our work. Give us patience while you open
doors and wisdom to see your will. Keep our families in your care, and provide for all
our needs. Never let stress diminish our love for each other nor the desire for material
things lessen our love for you. With confidence and trust we make this prayer thru Jesus.

Dear Saint Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon me in my anxiety with my present inability to support my family. Please help me find gainful employment very soon, so that this great burden of concern will be lifted from my heart and that I am soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care. Help me guard against discouragement, so that I may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.
