Prayer For When You Have Messed Up
Lord pls forgive me for the big mistake that I have done. I do stay focused and alert when I do my work. I truly love this job and I am trying my level best score well and to be a stunning staff in the eye of my managers. But I totally have no clue how mistakes had taken place. This month I tried my best avoid any defect or escalation so that my score remains high and I will score better. Pls forgive my mistake and wrong doings so that my managers will not fire me up and will give me space and chance to rectify this problem. I do not want to get insulted and scolded for this. Lord pls forgive me so that this problem will never ever get escalated higher and the problem will remain silent and there will be no further action taken on me. I have sorted the problem internally and hope my managers will solve and close this issue internally without higher authority escalation. This struggle and obstacle will be a milestone for me to be the best and shinning star. I have learned my lesson pls forgive me and allow me to perform better.
Lord, I thank you that you helped me to pray after making a couple of mistakes at work today. Fill me with Holy Spirit and let me find great favor at work despite my mistakes. They weren't that serious mistakes, none hurt except probably my ego, but I still want to be a blameless representative of Christ at work. Would you help me? Fill me with grace and wisdom. Let me find favor because you're with me when I'm surrounded by many who denounce you. Jesus, I need more of you.
Dear God, I've made a terrible mistake at work. I've violated company policy and am now under investigation. I am begging you for forgiveness, and humbly asking you to touch the mind and hearts of those involved in this decision to grant new a second chance. I've been here over 20 years, I'm a good and solid employee, but I've made this terrible mistake that I'm begging for help with. Please God, don't let me lose my job. Please wrap me in the loving arms of your protection and grant me a second chance. Please God. Amen.
Gracious Lord, give us the courage to seek forgiveness. Remind us that confession is never a mistake; it frees us from the chains of the enemy. We know we cannot hide our hearts from you. Help us to let go of our bitterness and fear, and purify us with the knowledge that you have taken away every sin. In your name, Amen.
Lord, please forgive me for what I have done to you. I offer up this forgiveness prayer in hopes that you will look at my mistakes and know that I did not mean to hurt you. I know you know I'm not perfect. I know that what I did went against you, but I hope that you will forgive me, just as you forgive others like me.
I will try, Lord, to change. I will make every attempt to not give into temptation again. I know that you are the most important thing in my life, Lord, and I know that what I did was disappointing.
I ask, God, that you provide me with guidance in the future. I ask for the discerning ear and open heart to hear and feel what you are telling me to do. I pray that I will have the understanding to remember this time and that you give me the strength to go in a different direction.
Lord, thank you for all you do for me. I pray that you pour your grace upon me.

Oh Lord, dear God. Let your heavenly light shine upon me and cleanse my soul of my anxiety and stress that this mistake has caused. Please help me to forgive myself and help other find it in their heart to forgive me. Please let something positive arise out of this difficult situation, and please fill my boss' heart with kindness and understanding. Give me the strength to admit to my errors. I put this obstacle in your hands. In your name, AMEN.
Well, Lord,I messed up this week.
I got upset about an injustice that was done to one of my kids--
which of course, felt like an injustice to me--
and I went all Mama-Bear on some well-intentioned people
who, however unintentional their behavior was, hurt my child.
So I messed up right back at them.
I was nice about it,
but I hurt them with my well-crafted phrases.
I feel terribly convicted,
even though what I said and how I said it may not have been so terrible.
I don't know anymore.
I just know I didn't leave this at your feet.
I didn't turn the other cheek.
(It's my kid, after all!)--
but I guess you know about that better than I do!
I took the bait.
I was less than Jesus about the whole thing.
I lacked grace and wisdom.
Please forgive me for not representing you well.
I've reached out to those I've offended--
I've affirmed them and explained myself--
but I guess I need to boldly ask their forgiveness,
with more groveling and more humility.
Maybe this whole debacle was about me modeling
repentance to people who don't know you like I do.
I'm asking for wisdom now.
How do I represent you well,
even while I uphold justice for my child?
I guess you know a lot about this.
Not sure why I didn't consult you to begin with.
I did pray about it.
And slept on it.
But still angry, I moved into action.
I figured one night was enough for you to change my mind.
Yep, that's how we spiritual humans wait on God.
We don't really wait all that well.
I'm sorry. I love you, and I will attempt to learn from this.
Don't know why you love me, except that you're God
and you do so many remarkable, unexplainable acts of love.
Thank you for forgiving me.
Thank you for a million chances to behave like Jesus.
Thank you for a million expressions of grace.
Amen.
Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ.
Where two or more are gathered there You'll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.

Father, please forgive them for thinking that Your love is not enough to forgive them.
Forgive them for limiting Your bottomless love.
Help them to renew their mind to Your grace and mercy.
You are so good to do all the wonderful things You do in their life. Thank You for sending Your Son Jesus that made all this available to them.
It is because of Him and through Him that they have been made right in Your sight.
Thanks to Jesus, His shed blood, and His resurrection, they are now qualified to receive every good thing You have planned for them.
Hallelujah!You don't bless them because of them but in spite of them.
We ask You together in prayer for a fresh, new touch from You. Yes, strengthen them here and now.
Thank You that through Jesus, a touch from You is theirs, right this very moment.
We decree and declare that like never before they see themselves interacting with You through Christ!
Yes, the awareness of Your very real love is abounding in their heart and mind.
We decree and declare that the feelings of unworthiness fall off of them like water off a duck's back in Jesus Name.
Glory!Praise You that feelings don't have a chance in Your presence.
No, Your blessings flow in their life in spite of them. You want to bless them because that is just who You are.
Thank You that Your love and forgiveness is flowing in the life of the person I am praying for right now because its Your good pleasure to give to them!
We believe and receive everything we've prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!
