Prayer For Warriors

Heavenly Father,
Your warrior prepares for battle.
Today I claim victory over Satan by putting on the whole armor of God!

I am a warrior. God has equipped me to lead a warrior's life. I do not have to cower in fear or be anxious of the future. God is my King, my Commanding Officer, and I can show up to the battle lines ready for war. I do that by walking in the full armor of God. This passage of Scripture equips me to walk confidently and in my God-given authority. There is no need for me to shrink back. No need to apologize. It's time for war and I'm ready!

I am a woman of strength nothing can break my spirit I am wild & free I am a warrior of the light I am me. Callled to be a Prayer Warrior for those in my life, I pray HIS hand be upon them and HIS Spirit be their Councillor and their strength.

Today we look to use social media to ignite all Pray Warriors as we pray for relief from the rain as many people are suffering across many states! We need your help, your prayers, and you know your prayer warrior friends, ignite them to join us! We look to use our collective internal voices to command external action!

Today our awesome God, we come before you giving you all the glory and praise. You are an amazing God that is so good to us, and we often forget all the good you have given to us in our times of despair. Today, we come to you requesting your ultimate help and a miracle. We lean into you asking you for relief from all this rain, storms, and the anxieties along with the feeling of the unknown. We specifically ask for your mercy be granted to those affected by all the rain and you remove the unnerved feeling as we sleep in our homes with water continually coming into our basements and hoping all pumps continue to run as we sleep. God, sleep is a needed commodity and grant us the ability to keep our minds from running all the crazy bad what if's as we lay there in concern. We come to you asking for your compassion for others facing the destruction of their home, the place they come home to for peace and relaxation, and that feeling of there is no place like home that is now destroyed, flooded, or full of water.

We beg you for your mercy and some relief from this weather cycle. We lean into you, look to you, and talk to you, rather than give in to the pandemonium of life. We lean into you, rather than push you away asking you for physical, mental, and spiritual strength. Let your gentleness be seen by all and that you make us all contagiously calm in these unnerving times for those affecting by all the severe weather. We choose prayer over despair and we cast our pain and anxieties upon you. We pray for you spirited Angel helpers to come down to watch over us and protect us. We entrust our fears to you, looking to not meditate on the mess but to meditate on the good and be in a spirit of gratitude even what the world may seem against us.

Awesome God, there are so many that need your help. So many in pain, in despair, some with a feeling of loss and having no idea what to do next. We humbly ask you to give them the help they so desperately need. Please forgive them and forgive us for our sins.

We look up to you and give you many thanks. We look to marginalize the devil and his work with our gratitude for all you have given to us. We give thanks in everything. Even when we are lost, upset, in despair, or sick. We have a grateful spirit and thank you for the good, the challenges, and the things we just don't understand why. We are robustly grateful!

In your heavenly and precious name, Jesus, we pray, Amen

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.

Lord Jesus Christ, I confess You are my Creator and Lord over all. [John 1:3-5] You are sovereign over my (name your struggle or concern by name).

I confess that You are also my Savior, that You have ransomed me with Your blood. [Matt. 20:28; 1 Cor. 15:3] I have been bought with the blood of Jesus Christ; my life and my body belong to God. [1 Cor. 6:1920] Jesus, I submit myself to be made whole and holy because of your sacrifice on the Cross. Your work covers all my brokenness. I lay (name your area of struggle or concern) at your feet Jesus because only you can bear the weight of it. [Rom. 6:23]

Jesus you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness [1 John 1:9]. I ask You to cleanse me of my sins of (name things specifically). Jesus you have made me pure and therefore I reject any lie about myself that doesn't produce the fruit of your spirit love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. [Gal. 5:22-23] Those lies are now broken by the cross and blood of Jesus Christ [Col. 2:1315].

I can now present myself pure and holy because of what you did on the cross. [Rom. 12:1; Rom. 6:12-14] I commit to make time in my life to continually learn your ways and live them out, for apart from you I can do nothing. [John 14:21, John 15:5] I will do this through (Name specific things you will do to continue to grow in your faith. Examples may be prayer, daily Bible reading, volunteer work, or even church attendance.).

Lord Jesus, I thank You for offering me total and complete forgiveness. I receive that forgiveness now. I choose to forgive myself and forgive those that have hurt me. (Be specific here; name people, and forgive them.) I release them to You. I release all my anger and judgment toward them. Come, Lord Jesus, into the pain they caused me, and heal me with Your love. I now bring the cross of my Lord Jesus Christ between me and (name your concern or struggle). I commit to seek out Godly counsel and accountability to encourage me and pray over me. [James 5:16, Heb 10:24, 1 Thes. 5:11, Prov. 27:17, Gal. 6:1-5]

Restore the joy of salvation in my spirit. [Psalm 51:12] Jesus, let your peace wash over me and guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. [Phil. 4:7] I now turn my mind towards what is true, noble, right, pure, and lovely before you. [Phil. 4:8]

I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I love You. Thank You for being my magnificent, almighty, loving Creator God. I lift up my children [state their names here] to You today. Please help each of them to become grateful people. Forgive me (and them) for any sins of ingratitude, discontentment, or negativity. Create in us clean hearts, and give us all an attitude of thanksgiving. Thank You for Your blessings. All of our lives belong to You. Every breath we take is a gift from You. Thank You for adoring my children, Lord. Thank You for crafting them so beautifully and for numbering each hair on their heads.

Lord, help me to show appreciation and model a heart of gratitude to my husband and children each day. Keep me from taking them for granted. Teach me to be thankful to You in all circumstances, no matter how challenging. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to die in my place and to give me the gift of eternal life with You. I pray that each of my children will establish a saving relationship with You through Jesus. I praise You for all the good gifts You have given me. Help me to trust You and give glory to You in all circumstances. In Jesus' name, amen.

Heavenly Father,

Your warrior prepares for battle.

Today I claim victory over Satan by putting on the whole armor of God!
I put on the Girdle of Truth! May I stand firm in the truth of Your Word so I will not be a victim of Satan's lies.
I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness! May it guard my heart from evil so I will remain pure and holy, protected under the blood of Jesus Christ.
I put on the Shoes of Peace! May I stand firm in the Good News of the Gospel so your peace will shine through me and be a light to all I encounter.
I take the Shield of Faith! May I be ready for Satan's fiery darts of doubt, denial, and deceit so I will not be vulnerable to spiritual defeat.
I put on the Helmet of Salvation. May I keep my mind focused on You so Satan will not have a stronghold on my thoughts.
I take the Sword of the Spirit! May the two-edged sword of Your Word be ready in my hands so I can expose the tempting words of Satan.
By faith your warrior has put on the whole armor of God!
I am prepared to live this day in spiritual victory!
Amen!
