Prayer For Unity In Our Country
Jesus, we thank You that YOU have made us ONE (Jn. 17:21). Let a spirit of UNITY be poured out upon this nation bringing renewal to our land.
Remove the walls that divide us! We cast them down! We cast down strongholds of strife, division, and discord political division, racial prejudice, and injustice, division in our homes and places of influence.
We command walls to fall in Jesus' Name! Let the oil of Your anointing flow across this nation! Command Your blessing upon this land as we turn to You!
AMEN!
Loving Father, I thank You that I have been privileged to grow up in this country, and although many of our standards are being eroded, I thank You that for so long we have enjoyed the liberty and blessings we have received from Your hand in this land.
Thank You for the for my country Lord, for my family and friends and the freedom that we have enjoyed up to now. Keep Your hand on this my nation and give our leaders wisdom to see Your ways and to look to You for the direction that we, as a nation, need to go. But also Lord, help me to hold to the things of this world lightly, knowing that my true citizenship is in heaven, as part of Your heavenly kingdom.
Provide for those that are in need, feed those that are hungry, comfort those that are sorrowing, heal those that are sick and bring those that do not know You as their Saviour into a close and personal walk with Yourself. In Jesus' name,

Lord, I pray for our nation and ask that You would look down on us in pity and mercy. Forgive us for the way that we have turned our backs on You in so many ways and bring us back as a people who seek to follow the ways of justice and peace.
Keep our land free from war and aggressions, from winds and earthquakes, from fear and confusion, and from other things that can cause hurt and fear and confusion. May we as a nation turn to You and call out to You in the day of trouble.
Be close to all our leaders and governors and give them wisdom and discernment as they rule this nation. May the decisions that they make be wise, and Lord, I pray that our nation would turn to You for Your wisdom and Your strength.
Be with all those that are oppressed and downtrodden and especially those that do not know You as their Saviour. May there be many that come to know You as their Saviour in this my country. I pray that the gospel may one day be preached in this land from shore to shore, openly and truthfully. Keep us from compromising Your Word of truth. Restore to this nation the joy of Your salvation and bring many to a faith in the Lord Jesus as Saviour. I pray in His name,

Dear God,
We are needy of you. We're aware, more than ever, of our own weaknesses, and of the struggle with dark forces that try hard to divide us and gain more ground. We say No more. We stand our ground. We ask that you would fill us with your Spirit of love and unity among believers all across this nation. We ask that you would help us to set aside our differences and look to the greater cause, the cause of Christ. We ask that you would help us to truly live a life of love. We know that this is only possible through the power of your Spirit, so we ask that you would move across our land in fresh ways. With fresh filling and awareness. Turning your people back to you. Drawing others to come to know you. We thank you that you are always with us, and give us great purpose and hope.

Almighty God,
bless our nation
and make it true
to the ideas of freedom and justice
and brotherhood for all who make it great.
Guard us from war,
from fire and wind,
from compromise, fear, confusion.
Be close to our president and our statesmen;
give them vision and courage,
as they ponder decisions affecting peace
and the future of the world.
Make me more deeply aware of my heritage;
realizing not only my rights
but also my duties
and responsibilities as a citizen.
Make this great land
and all its people
know clearly Your will,
that they may fulfill
the destiny ordained for us
in the salvation of the nations,
and the restoring of all things in Christ.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for this great nationthe United States of America. I thank You that it was founded on Your Word, and faith in You alone. I thank You that this nation is blessed because of this foundation, and we desire to continue to live under a banner of blessing through our obedience to You.
Father, I know our strength as believers lies in our unity because Your Word says a house divided against itself cannot stand. So, today, in the Name of Jesus, I come against the spirit of division and strife in the Body of Christ. I cast down every attempt by the enemy to divide believers into separate groups. I refuse to accept the worldview that I must be part of a group such as race, gender, class or any other group. I am a Christian. That is where I standthat is where I find my identityin You and only in You.
I bind up the enemy's attempts to divide me from my fellow believers, and I declare today that I will stand in the unity of faith with my brothers and sisters in Christ. If I have a difference of political opinion, I will humble myself and compare my views to the Word of God to make my final decision.
Lord, help me to resist the influences of friends, family or media that may try to sway me away from the Word of God. Help me to fill my heart and mind with the truth in Your Word and stand on itimmovable, unshakable and firm in my faith.
Father, breathe a fresh wind of unity over this nation. Let Your Holy Spirit dominate every area of our government, our churches, our schools and our homes. Help us, as believers, to walk in love and unity together, so that all may see that we are one and know the power of the one true, living God.
I praise You and thank You for it, in Jesus' Name.

Dear God, We pray for your protection as one nation under God.
We ask that you surround this country and cover us with your mighty hand. We pray for unity in our land, that in spite of our differences, we would be willing to stand strong together and live out our days with compassion and grace. We ask that no weapon formed against us will prosper, and that you would thwart the attacks of the enemy hurled our way.
Thank you that you are rich in mercy and full of grace. Thank you that you are forgiving and merciful. Thank you that you are strong and mighty. Thank you that you are for us and that you fight for us still today.
Wake us up Lord! Remind us to live aware, to redeem the time, listen to your words, and be willing to make a difference in this land. Give us courage to speak out. Help us not to stay silent but to do all things through your wisdom and love.
We pray for your great healing on our land. Shine your face on us dear Lord. Give us courage to go into all the world and take the message of the Gospel of peace. We need you just as much now as we ever have before. Our times are in your hands.
Bring honor to your Name today, for You alone are worthy. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
