Prayer For True Love
Dear Lord, I have been single for a long time now. Through this time, you helped me find other things to occupy my thoughts. This time has also made me realize how much I want a life partner who will be by my side and enjoy this journey of life with me. Help me find my true love, someone who will mean a lot to me and to whom I will also mean a lot. May your beauty and grace shine through me so that I attract the right kind of love to me. Amen.
Dear Lord, I have been searching for love in all the wrong places. I have been rushing to find a partner, and have been settling for people who are not right for me. Lord, I have made mistakes in my search for love, and I do not want to repeat these mistakes. Give me your wisdom in choosing and finding my true love. May I be willing to become the type of person who gives freely in love to my partner. Lord, remind me not to try too hard to make things happen on my own because you are working for good and happiness in my life, on your time. Amen.
Dear Jesus, you who loved us so unconditionally that you died on the cross to save us all, you who went through pain and suffering so we could see the kingdom of heaven, I pray to you for your everlasting love. Teach me to know how to truly love. Help me be wholesome in my loving and not hold back because I am trying to protect my heart. Lord, let true love come into my life with a trusting, respectful, understanding, and caring partner who knows and believes in you. Amen.

Oh, Jesus, you are a miracle worker. Your love for us and your word gives us hope that tomorrow will be a better day than today. You teach us, Lord, not to worry about anything. I pray that you help me not to worry about finding my true love. I pray that I do not feel like my soulmate is taking forever to find. Lord, comfort me with your love, that I may not worry about true love and trust in your power to make it happen for me. Amen.
Lord, I am a person with flaws and imperfections. I like to do things that make me happy, even though those actions may be judged as reckless by others. It is your mercy that I am praying for at this moment, to help me accept who I am and know that I am good enough for someone out there. I pray that I find a true love who will know me and accept me with all my flaws and imperfections. I know you created someone special for me. Lead me and unite me with him/her. Amen.
God our Father, we live in a world where love has become a commodity to trade for what people want in return. People use material things and status to get love. Dear Lord, you know that this is not true love. True love is pure, honest, understanding, never tiring or giving up. Lord, I pray that I meet my true love whose intentions are pure and holy, and who knows how to truly love without strings attached. May we be united and fulfill your commandment of love. Amen.
