Prayer For Troubled Child
Lord, you gave this child to our family and we thank you. I know you always watch over the life of our child [Name] and have promised that nothing will harm him/her. [Name] is behaving in an unpleasant way to others at home and in school.
Show us the root cause of his/her bad behavior so we can address it in prayer and have a hearty conversation with him/her. As parents, help us not to be harsh with him/her but to address their behavior with maturity and calmness. Give us the wisdom to train up this child in your ways so he/she will not depart from them (Proverbs 22:6).
Help our child to behave in a godly way and to be a good influence to others.
In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Lord,
Please help me to be the parent that you designed me to be.
Help me to discipline and raise my child in a way that glorifies you.
I pray that you would wash over him/her with your peace, that you would fill their heart and mind with joy and the desire to be a child that is behaved and respectful.
And Lord, please give me patience and wisdom.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the blessing of parenthood and the joy that comes with having children. We are grateful for growth and learning that comes with Godly discipline and teachings.
Forgive us, Lord, when we are frazzled and feel like giving up from bad behavior in our children. Sometimes we reach the end of our ropes and our anger, and lack of patience rears their ugly heads in sinful ways. Father, when satan tries to rob our relationship with our children through unruly behavior or rebellion, equip us to step in immediately with a firm yet loving hand. Enable and guide us to discipline our children according to your teachings.
I pray that you would help us to look past the behavior and see the reason or cause for it. Reveal to us if there is something that we can improve or do better as their parent.
We trust in you Father to bring about a change in our child and that you would give them a tender and calm spirit. Help them to thrive despite their conduct. Please plant self-control within them that can overcome the temptation to act out.
Please place Godly influences in their lives and allow them to be a Godly influence to those around them as well.
Please bathe our child's heart, body, and mind in your soothing peace. Help them to react and act in a way that is accepting and non-irritating to others around. Forgive them when they do act up and help them to have the strength to resist the urge or desire to disobey or misbehave.
Forgive me, Father, when I give in to the bad behavior to keep things from escalating. I know this only teaches my child that the behavior is ok. Give me the power to handle the situation at the very moment it happens.
I pray for your hand of protection upon my child's heart and mind and that you will bring us closer together as a family. May we grow in our walk with you and glorify you in all that we do.

Oh Lord, I lift up my son to you. He has been in troubke with the law and was fortunate enough to not spend time in jail. I thank you for your mercy. I ask that your Holy Spirit move in him and help him with his addiction. His earthly father has fought addiction for 25 years. I pray, heavenly Father, that you and your love would fill his void. May the demons be driven out by the sound of your name, Yeshua. I am giving it all to you Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth. Your will be done, amen.

my son Derek . God wrap your loving arms around him. Father my son is 21 years old, he has many trial and tribulations in his life. He is battling drug addition, lieing, stealing from family and friends to meet his drug needs. God please remove all the evil influences in his life and the evil spirits. I pray that you will open his heart, mind and give him strength to make better choices in his life. That he will turn to you in prayer, give him guidance and wisdom to listen to you. To choose a righteous path.

Dear Lord, you have witnessed the rebelliousness of youth since the very beginnings of time. You understand a parent's anguish and helplessness over the actions of his child. Please help us to transform our anger and frustration into loving care for our child who has gone astray. Help us begin to mend our broken fences and heal our broken hearts. Bless our child and also help him to mend the error of his ways. Help and bless us all to do right in Your name and restore us to peace and tranquility. Amen.
Lord, Your Word says "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). Lord, I need that kind of wisdom to know when to speak to ______________ and when to be silent. "Do not let any unwholesome talk (lecturing, judging, or accusing) come of (my) mouth, but only what is helpful for building (my children) up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen (Eph. 4:29). Let me also be "quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for (my) anger doesn't bring about the righteous life that God desires"
Dear God, You are the author of all life. Father, You created our child (name), body and soul. The Holy Spirit breathed life into (name) at the moment of conception. The Son Jesus Christ has redeemed (name). Blessed Trinity, You have given this child to us as pure gift so that we may care for him/her and ultimately lead him/her into relationship with You.
Merciful Father, we implore You to pour Your mercy out upon (name). Father forgive him/her for he/she knows not what he/she does. May our prayers and sacrifices, united to Christ and perfected in His image, be lifted up to You as a perfect offering on behalf of our child. May these prayers also be laid before the Most Immaculate Heart of Mary so that she may intercede on behalf of (name). Lord, we trust that You will not deny a request of Your Mother Mary and so we entrust our child to her completely.
We ask that you send angels in sufficient rank, number, power and authority to fight any demons off and away from (name) so that in this very moment, the Holy Spirit may come down upon him/her, interrupting his/her day, and convict his/her heart. May the loving touch of Your Heavenly grace enable him/her to turn back to You.
St. Michael the Archangel, lift away and hold back the veil of confusion that covers over (name) so that his/her heart may be continually softened and opened to the Truth. St Gabriel the Archangel, deliver the message of Jesus Christ to (name), so that the Good News may be proclaimed and heard by him/her this very day. St. Raphael the Archangel, bring about complete healing to the body, mind and soul of (name), so that he/she may be restored and renewed as a beloved child of God.
Lord, as parents and guardians of (name), we consecrate him/her to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Most Chaste Heart of Joseph. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, help us to persevere in faith, hope, and love.
