Prayer For Strength In Hard Times
Dearest God, the past few days have not been good to me. I feel as if everything is going wrong. I feel so worried, anxious, and afraid. This is probably the biggest difficulty I have ever had to face in my life. It feels as if my world is falling apart all around me. I feel that at any time, the weight of all my problems will crush me. Not a moment goes by that I don't think about the problems surrounding me. I have grown so weary that I can't even think properly.
But Lord, You said in Your word not to worry about anything, but instead to pray and present my concerns to You with thanksgiving. Thank You, God, that I am able to have this chance to make my requests known to You. I cast those cares, fears, and worries to You, Lord. I lay my burdens down at Your feet. Thank You, Lord, for easing my burden. Thank You that You are able to carry me through my toughest days. Let Your love surround me, Lord, and let it replace my feelings of worry.
You also said in Your word, God, that as I present my requests to You, Your peace that surpasses all understanding will guard my heart and my mind. Show me, Lord, what it means to experience that kind of peace. Grant me that peace so that I could live life to the fullest again. May that peace reign in my mind and in my heart. Remind me, Lord, that despite all of the trials I'm going through, You are always there to guide me. You are always there to be my comfort and my shelter.
As I go through this day, Lord, whatever trials come my way, please be with me. And as You walk with me today, surround me with that peace. Enable me to do my best today for Your glory. All these I ask in Your Name, Amen.
Dearest Lord, at this time, my mind is not at peace and my heart is troubled. Inside of me, it feels like a raging storm with no signs of stopping any time soon. My concerns are getting too great for me to handle. The things I have to deal with are taking a huge toll on my mind and heart. There are even times that I cannot sleep soundly at night. My fears and what ifs keep bombarding my mind, stealing the peace and gladness I once had.
More than ever, God, I need You in this time of turmoil. I admit that often, I do not know what to do anymore. I am so close to giving up. I'm losing motivation to wake up in the morning. I'm losing my drive to continue the work that I'm supposed to do. Sometimes, I even feel as if life is no longer worth living. These are the thoughts clouding my mind these days, Lord, and I admit that they are not good.
For that reason, God, I'm asking that You would grant me that peace that surpasses understanding. I need that kind of peace that rules over my mind despite all the troubles I have. That can only come from You, Lord. Hold me in Your arms and comfort me. I cannot go through all of this on my own, but I know that with You, nothing is impossible. Always remind me that You are always there beside me, God, wherever I am and whatever comes my way.
Through it all, God, remind me to stay away from worry. Instead, help me to always look to You for comfort and peace, and to trust You whatever circumstances I have in life. You are sovereign, and You know what's best for me. I trust that You still have a great purpose for me; help me to fulfill it, Lord, despite any challenges. In Your Name, I pray, Amen.
Heavenly Father, I am in need of Your strength right now. It's a very tough time for me, and I don't know if I could go on any further. Problem after problem is attacking me from all directions. I can no longer depend on my own power to overcome these challenges. They have become too much for me. Which is why I'm coming to You today.
Father God, I trust that You are in control of my life at all times. Calm my heart, God, and keep it away from the spirit of fear and anxiety. You are the only one who can comfort me now. Surround me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Raise me up in Your victorious right hand. Walk with me through these challenges that I am going through. Grant me Your strength, God, that I may not give up even if the going gets tough. Help me, God, to focus on You and not on my problems. I know that You, God, are bigger than all of those problems combined. If I put my trust in You, I will never be disappointed. If I wait on You, I will never grow weary. Enable me, God, to have patience and to fully depend on You for strength, that I may soar on wings like eagles.
And now, God, I surrender to you my heavy burdens: the challenges, the problems, the obstacles in my life right now. Take them, God, and carry them. Whenever You are with me, I know that I don't have to bear the load alone. Likewise, I surrender the outcomes of my challenges to You, Father. Only You are in control of what will happen next. As I face those giants, help me to make the right decisions. Grant me peace of mind too as I leave the results up to You.
As each problem is solved and each obstacle is hurdled, grant me rest, Father God. Allow me to recover after these tough days. Enable me to enjoy Your presence afterwards, as well as the presence of the people I am within this journey called life. All these I ask in Your Name, Amen.
Lord, I thank You that You are the God of the impossible. You can do anything. I want to trust in Your ability and not my own. Teach me to see difficulties in my life from Your perspective. Help me to focus on You and Your power. I want to be like Joshua and Caleb who believed in a good report and focused on You even in hard circumstances (Numbers 14:7-9). My responsibility is to carefully read, trust, and obey Your Word. Today I bring before You this difficulty in my life [Name a hard situation you are right now facing]. Help me not to fear but to trust You in this situation. I declare my faith in Your ability to fulfill Your promises to me. You will fight for me and win the battles in my life. You are mighty, powerful, righteous and true.
I have nothing to fear with You on my side. I will be strong and courageous even in hard times. I will not be terrified or discouraged, for the Lord my God will be with me wherever I go (Joshua 1:9). You will never leave me or forsake me (Joshua 1:5). I do not need to figure everything out. You already know the best plan for my life. I will not try any man-made method to do only what You can do. Show me Your supernatural power. Teach me how to walk by faith and pray breakthrough prayers. I choose to have faith in Your ability to break through every obstacle in my life. Just like Joshua, You will give me the land and every place where my feet step (Joshua 1:3). Through you we push back our enemies; through your name we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever (Psalm 44:5-8).
Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand (Psalm 16:5-11). In Jesus name, amen.
To Provide My Family's Need In Hard Times
Loving Lord, You are the One that gives the swallow its nest and paints the wayside flowers with such vibrant colours, and I know that if You care so lovingly for the birds of the air and the flowers of the field, how
much more is Your loving-kindness poured out on each of Your children.
Lord, I know this truth and I trust Your Word of truth, but I also know that we who are Your children are to live by faith just like the birds and the flowers, without striving to do everything ourselves, but rather trusting Your provision.
Oh Lord, we are facing many difficulties in these hard times. I know that so many others families are also finding it hard to make ends meet, and at times it is hard to trust You to provide for all our needs. But Lord, please calm my worried thoughts and help me to rest all my family needs in You.
Thank You, Lord, for the way that You have provided all our needs in the past, and give me the grace to lay all my burdens at Your feet, knowing that we are much more precious to You than the birds of the air and the flowers of the field.
Let me trust in You and not be afraid in these hard times. In Jesus' name I pray,

Lord Jesus, I come to You because when I look at the hard times that we are facing, my heart seems to fail as I don't know which way to turn, except to You. Thank You, that You have always been there for me, and thank You that you have always come through with Your help in time of need. Always at the right time and always in the right way.
Keep me from fear of what tomorrow may bring, knowing that I do not need to be afraid or fearful, because You have promised to supply all my needs according to Your riches in mercy.
Thank You, Lord, for Your Word which has so many beautiful truths and wonderful promises. It tells me that You are always there to help when times are hard. Thank You for this scripture from the Bible, which someone gave me today, "do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Thank You for this lovely truth and for the many promises that You have given to all Your children. May my heart rest in You Lord, and keep me from fear in these difficult times. In Jesus' name I pray,

Lord, I am facing such hard times, times that have become much more difficult with each passing day, and at times I get quite anxious and afraid, wondering how we are going to manage.
Lord, I know that You have promised to care for all Your children, but there are so many, I don't understand how You can care for us all. Nevertheless, I want to trust You to keep Your Word because You have promised, and You are faithful to keep Your promises.
Thank You, Lord, that You are my light and my salvation. I know that there is nothing to worry about when You are my strength and stay. Lord, I believe that there is nothing that You cannot do. Please help my unbelief Lord Jesus, for I know that when You are the stronghold of my life there is nothing of which to be afraid.

Thank You, Lord, that You are my refuge and my strength in hard times and an ever present helper in times of trouble. Help me to cling to You and this truth from the Bible that You keep bringing to my mind.
I know that You are the only all-powerful God, and that there is nothing that is too difficult in my life for You to deal with, nor is there any obstacle in my path that is so insurmountable that I cannot cross, knowing that You are by my side.
Please give me Your strength to face today's hard and troubled times, with the confidence of knowing that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. Thank You that my strength comes from You, and that Your grace is sufficient for all the tasks and duties that will cross my daily path, not only for today but for the rest of my journey through life.
Thank You, Father, that Your grace is sufficient. Help me to meditate on this truth every day,
