Prayer For Someone Ill
Dear Father,
I am concerned for my friend who is ill. So I lift my prayers to you, King of Kings and Lord of Lords! You put the stars in the sky and filled the seas with water. You are the giver of life whom understands the wonderful development of a new baby and filled the earth with plant life that provides us with medicine. So I am confident that you can touch my dear friend and bring your restoration. Give their bodies new strength, health and wholeness. Cover their hearts, minds and emotions with the oil of your healing.
I trust them into your care, because you love them even more than I do.
Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank you for all your blessings, especially for giving us a wonderful and a loving mother. We know that whatever we have is just borrowed, but I would like to request for your Sacred Heart to heal my mother. She has been through so many hardships,but her faith in you stayed strong. We believe that you can do anything, that you can heal my mother. Have mercy on us, Lord. Amen.
My heart holds a prayer that carries you friend So close to God's loving heart. I lay out my hope that you'll know his touch, And be healed by the Lord above. So I trust in our Abba Father To comfort you when you cry, And bless the hands of the medical teams, That care for you each day and night. I wish I could be beside you always, To hold your hand and pray. So I'm sending my love, my thoughts and my faith, To be with you my wonderful friend.
Gracious God,
Hold my lovely mum at this time of illness, watch over her when she cannot sleep,
speak your love to her when she is afraid, touch and heal her weak body.
You are the fountain of life. I ask for your life giving water to pour down upon her.
Build her up again, look after her emotions and may she know your loving arms are around her at this time.
Thank you for your love, and for your promises to your children.
Thank you that you will never leave us, and that you bring us a peace that surpasses all understanding.
O Holy Spirit, please come like a dove
Shield and protect now the one that I love.
Cover their wounds with Your grace feathered wings,
Shield them from sorrow, breathe hope songs within.
Tend with Your goodness the pain that they bear
Heal now their sickness with miracle care.
Carry them high far above till they see
Your rainbow of promise, real hope lies ahead.
I love them so dearly, so help me to be
All that you, would give out through me.
Almighty God, as we ask your help for our brothers and sisters who are ill, we
ask you to help us to be healing people in our time and place. May your love
touch others through us, and may I help all people to live in peace. We ask this
through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Think, O' God, of our friend who is ill, whom we now commend to Your compassionate regard.
Comfort them upon their sickbed, and ease their suffering. We beg for deliverance, and submit that no healing is too hard for the Lord, if it be His will.
We therefore pray that You bless our friend with Your loving care, renew their strength, and heal what ails them in Your loving name.

Almighty God,
you know that we are surrounded by many great dangers,
and because of our human frailty
we cannot withstand them.
Give us health of mind and body
so that we who suffer under sin
may overcome and win the victory in you;
through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever.
