Prayer For Sick Mom
Father of Compassion, I pray that you would restore my mother back to health. Now that she is sick, the loneliness she typically feels is much more severe and she is really down. My mother's friends are dying, and she has hardly any good friends left. The friends she has left have their own lives, and she is often alone. Please sit with my mother, Father. Hold her hand and heal her. Indwell Your Holy Spirit in her and radiate Your presence from her. Rejuvenate her health and fill her with Your joy, so that she can feel she is not alone. Surround her and wrap her, Lord, in Your never-ending love. I pray she feels well again soon, and that when she is alone she would know nothing of the feelings of loneliness because of her sweet fellowship with You. I pray that You would give her friends and family more time to visit as well. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Lord Jesus, our Merciful and Faithful High Priest, I know that my mom has been facing a difficult financial situation because she is sick. Prescriptions, co-pays, and other bills are adding up, and she hasn't been able to work her normal schedule. I pray, Lord Jesus, for a miracle. I pray that she would be able to make ends meet. I pray that she is not so overwhelmed that she fails to communicate with us about how much help she needs. We cannot help her if she doesn't tell us what and how much she needs, Lord Jesus. Please quickly help us get a plan together to get the money situation under control so she can focus on getting well. She needs to heal, Lord Jesus, not worry about money. Please be with her in this way. Ease her stress and calm her mind so that all of her energy can go towards healing her body. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Jehovah Rapha, my Healer, my mom has been so sick lately. She needs Your miraculous, restorative hand to reach down and touch her body. Give her the healing she needs to overcome this sickness and fully recover. It is taking such a toll on her and I am beginning to worry, Lord. Please intervene soon. You are the Great Physician, Jesus, and I know that You can do all things. I am trusting in You to cure my mom. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Dear God, Lift her high on eagles wings, fill her mind with your truth and cover her heart with hope. Protect her always, may she feel safe and secure besides you. Walk with her through each moment. Come be strength when she feels weak, be counsel when she needs comfort. Help her to rest, to lay down when she needs to and allow others to take the strain. I pray that throughout this hard time she may know our love for her and Your love for her. Amen.
Dear Father, I pray for my lovely mum, for you to hold her, keep her and restore her at this trying time. She is always looking out for others, caring for her family and watching over her friends. Please help us all now to be her guardians. May she reap in abundance all the love she has given out. Come surround her with your arms of healing, lift her heart to find moments of joy in every day and keep hope burning alive in her soul. Cover her as she sleeps with the encircling power of Christ. Pour into her the oil of His healing grace, and clothe her with her inheritance as a child of God. She is so precious to us, yet even more so to you, her Abba Father. Lord, we look to you for her restoration. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
O Lord,
Be beside mum, comfort her and hold her close.
May she know that she can rest and feel safe in your arms.
Bring your healing to her body,
Filling her with love and hope.
Touch her with miracle hands that restore and renew.
Watch over her thoughts and dreams by day and night.
May she dwell on happy memories and look forward to good times ahead.
May each day that passes bring little joys into her life.
Flowers, good wishes and a nice meal.
May these things bring happiness and peace.
Keep her safe until she is well.
And then may she live, love and enjoy life again to the full.

O Lord,
Be so close beside my dear one. Come whisper words of great hope into her heart. Shut out the pain, the worry and fear and wrap her up within your soft, gentle love.
Bless the efforts of the surgeons who have worked to bring life and healing to her body. Please protect and keep her in your rest and care. May she know your presence close by each day.

O Lord, bring a wave that sings out in praise
That carries your grace
And lets healing rise up.
O Lord, may this wave of strength, power and love
Wash over my dear mom to heal.
O Lord, may this wave sweep away the disease,
Heal the wounds and the pain she feels.
O Lord, lead my prayers,
So I dwell near to you,
May I soak in your redeeming power.
O Lord, take my hands and help me to be,
More of you to my mom in this hour.
