Prayer For Religion Class
Dear Lord Jesus, We are excited to learn more about you, to read the bible and hear stories. Thank you that we can play games together. Thank you that we can create and make things that remind us of you. Amen.
Come, Holy Spirit, Divine Creator, true source of light and fountain of wisdom! Pour forth your brilliance upon my dense intellect, dissipate the darkness which covers me, that of sin and of ignorance. Grant me a penetrating mind to understand, a retentive memory, method and ease in learning, the lucidity to comprehend, and abundant grace in expressing myself. Guide the beginning of my work, direct its progress, and bring it to successful completion. This I ask through Jesus Christ, true God and true man, living and reigning with You and the Father, forever and ever. Amen.
Dear Father, Thank you for our teachers, our school and our families. As we gather together this morning we invite Your Holy Spirit to inspire us, guide us and teach us in everything that we do today. We give you our anxious thoughts and receive your peace. Thank you that you promise to be with us always. Amen.
Dear Lord and Father of all, Thank you for today. Thank you for ways in which you provide for us all. For Your protection and love we thank you. Help us to focus our hearts and minds now on what we are about to learn. Inspire us by Your Holy Spirit as we listen and write.
