Prayer For Protection Against Hurricanes
Lord God, we ask your wisdom for those who lead relief efforts in the wake of a natural disaster. We pray for our government, our churches, and our communities. May relief be fast. Give discernment to those who donate funds and keep every agency free from fraud. Open any closed doors so that people will receive shelter, clean water, and food. Bless our efforts as a nation as we care for those in need at this time. In your holy name we pray, Amen.
Protect and guide all who serve as rescue workers. Give them endurance and direction as they seek to do your work of caring for those who need your healing, protection, and recovery. When they face danger, be their stronghold. We thank you for their efforts. Amen.

We ask that you protect them, their families, property and possessions from mighty winds, strong rains and surging waves.
We pray protection and effectiveness for first responders with emergency preparedness.
We know that our faith can move mountains and quiet fears
We rejoice that those who lose electricity will never lose the power of God guiding them.
We ask You, Heavenly Father, to dispatch angels to care for and protect all in the path of danger.
Finally, we ask for the peace of God comfort and strengthen everyone.

God of mercy, be a barrier to our family from all sorts of disaster, whether weather incidents like hurricanes or tornadoes or flooding, or from rapidly-spreading disease, or from war or rioting, or from political upheaval or any other catastrophe that might bring danger to our family. We take refuge in You, Merciful One, for You are our Fortress. We abide in the shadow of Your wings. Amen.
Mighty God, You are our strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Even when the earth shakes, and mountains crumble, and the ocean roars and surges, we will not be alarmed. The Lord of heavens armies is here among us, and He is our fortress. We will be still and know that You are God. We thank You, Great Creator of the wind and earth, for saving us in our time of peril. Amen.
Jesus, when You walked on earth, You demonstrated Your power over nature. You are the One who walked on water and rebuked the fierce tempest, and at Your command, the wind stopped and a great calm prevailed. You are the same yesterday, today and forever. We put our faith and trust in You when we are assailed by the forces of nature. Thank You for Your protection and care. Amen.
