Prayer For Peace In My Heart
Dear merciful Heavenly Father, please help me to have peace in my heart. I had a heated exchange over politics with an internet friend, and I am still upset. This person is a liberal, I'm a conservative. I still have flashes of anger when I think of what was said to me. Lord, please forgive me.
AMEN
Almighty and Eternal Father, Give me, I beg You, the great gift of internal peace. Command the winds and storms of my unruly heart. Calm, by Your grace, my habit of loving created things too much. Give me a love for suffering for Your sake. make me patient and kind to others, that I may avoid quarrels and fights. Lord teach me constantly to seek after and to acquire that perfect acceptance to Your Holy Will which alone brings interior peace.
Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, when I look at the circumstances of my life and at the world around me, there are many reasons to worry. Many reasons to fear. Many reasons for unrest. But when I look at You, all else fades away. When I remember Your unfailing love, Your unsurpassed wisdom, Your unending goodness, and Your unequaled power, I can't help but be at peace with this God on my side. It's in the name of my Savior and Source of peace, Jesus Christ, that I pray. Amen.
Hear us, O Lord, and in our troubles, pity us. Give us spiritual gladness, and give us eternal peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Father God, my heart is filled with chaos and confusion. I feel as if I am drowning in my circumstances and my heart is filled with fear and confusion. I really need the strength and peace that only You can give. Right now, I choose to rest in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Intervene, Oh Prince of Peace! Bestow Your tranquility and love upon me. Embrace me in Your comforting loving arms, that I may never feel uneasy and alone.
Allow Your peace to pierce through my heart as You grant me unity and order in my life. Let not my heart be troubled. I was not given a spirit of fear but of power and of a sound mind. Amen
Heavenly Father, release Your peace into my life. Let it infiltrate into my heart, into my soul and into my mind. Father, the noise that surrounds me is unbearable at times. It exhausts me to the point where I feel uneasy and spiritually drained. Rescue me from the darkness of this world that attempts to drown You out.
Pierce through the walls of deception and speak to me, Lord. I yearn to hear Your roar! Fill me with all joy and peace that by your Holy Spirit I may abound and grow in hope and love. Amen
Lord, bring me peace in my heart. At times my life seems clouded with doubt and anxiety, so many paths, which one to choose.
An yet the choices must be made and the path must be walked if we are not to stay still.
Allow me to be brave lord. Allow me to be open to all the possibilties in my life. Allow me to walk the road that radiates with most joy and happiness.
When my mind is clouded bring me into the sunshine and remove my worries. Allow me to see the path that is right for me and walk it with courage and integrity.
Bring me peace in my heart, knowing that your love is with me always and this is the only truth that needs to be understood.
Hold me in the palm of your hand and carry me on my journey to a place of peace and tranquility.
