Prayer For Patience And Calmness
Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.
Cease from anger and forsake wrath;
Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing.
For evildoers will be cut off,
But those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land.
Be still before the Lordand wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. 8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret-it leads only to evil. 9 For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance.
It is there for each and every one of you.

Lord, give me firm hands, attentive eyes, prudence and perfect control so that I may make a good journey and arrive happily at my destination.
You are the Author of life. Do not let me suffer any accident, hurt anyone or be the cause of anyone's death.
Lord, arouse in me the feelings of the good Samaritan and Simon of Cyrene.
Make me calm and patient in difficult traffic.
Protect me against all incompetence, accidents and troubles.
Together with me, protect my passengers.
Teach me to respect the signs, to use my car for good purposes and to moderate my speed.
May Your grace always accompany me on my journeys.

My mind prowls around, looking for someone to blame, hunting for a way to release the anger I feel. I am trapped, enraged by these feelings. Resentment weighs me down and revenge follows me. It overtakes my life.
Please come and bring freedom, I need you Almighty God. I lay these feelings at the foot of the cross. I remind myself over and over that you took this pain and these raw wounds with your death on the cross, and overcame them all. Lord help my heart to understand your risen love, that I may breathe in your hope and find a new morning of peace and forgiveness.

Holy Spirit, please encircle me,
Come hold me safe and secure.
Wrap my mind up with your truth
Guide my thoughts and calm my fears.
Steady my emotions,
Lord that you would guide my feelings,
May I not be overcome by upset.
Sustain my soul,
With vision for the future,
And hope for tomorrow.

Prince of Peace, I will not be anxious about anything, instead in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, I will present my requests to You. I will not let fear or worry consume my life, instead I will wait patiently for Your peace. The peace that comes from You, transcends all understanding, and will guard my heart and mind. I thank You in advance for allowing me to feel peace and remain patient. Amen.
Lord Jesus, please make this legal right a personal delightan actual power mightily at work in my heart today, and in all my relationships. You do so much more than simply calm down my restless, wandering heart. You are the sovereign King who in working in all things for my good and your glory. You are the merciful Savior who understands my weakness and bears my burdens. You are the great Advocate who is constantly praying for us what we would pray, if we knew what you knew.
