Prayer For Pain
Father, we praise You for Jesus. No one has ever experienced pain like He did for us. Thank You for His sacrifice, which allows us to call out to You for help in full confidence that You hear us and will answer us and heal us. Forgive us for wanting to control what the answers to Your prayers look and feel like and when they happen. Bless us to be strong in Your Word, and rely on You for strength. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Lord, you bring a smile to my face each day when I think about you in my life. I confess that I surrounded myself with people that do not know your generosity. One of these people has broken my heart and caused me to doubt your graciousness. I thank you for all of the people you have brought into my life to help me through these difficult times. I pray to you with a heavy heart and ask that you give me courage to forgive the person that is causing me such great pain. I ask that you show me how to model your character for others so I may mend this pain I feel inside. In your name I pray, Amen.
God of Heaven, since I am Your child, I am Your heir, an heir of Your glory. But if I am to share Your glory, I must also share Your suffering. I understand that pain and suffering is necessary in this time, but what I suffer now is nothing compared to the glory that You will reveal to me later, Amen.
Beautiful One, I will not be discouraged by the pain I feel! No, even if outwardly I am perishing, inwardly I am being renewed each and every day. This temporary suffering is producing for me an everlasting weight of glory, far beyond any comparison. I look not to the things that I can see, but for things that cannot be seen for they are eternal. Lord, this pain is insignificant when I focus on You and Your glory, Amen.
God,
I know only you can help this pain vanish away. I plead for peace and serenity as I fight off the pain I am feeling. Send your hand down to me and fill me with your strength. I cannot take this pain any longer without your help! Release me from this hold and restore me. I trust in You to give me the strength to get through this. I pray that the pain will be gone! It will not hold me down because I have the Lord on my side.

Lord, I feel worn down by reoccurring pain I have. It makes every small thing feel like a big deal. Please help me to manage this illness and continue to find time to rest and treat the pain. Most of all Lord please touch the area of discomfort and bring healing. Please flood the inflammation with warmth and bring the swelling down. Come release the muscles that are tight and bring your restoration. May my waking hours be restful and my sleep be peaceful.
Father, I am trembling with fear of the unknown. I am constantly worrying about what might happen and I try to make sense of life's hiccups all on my own. I am consumed by stress. Oh God, consume me! I need you to consume me more than my life currently does. Hold me and let me not be shaken. Thank you for loving me even when I turn away. In Jesus name, amen.
Even though my head knows that I am not alone in my struggles, I confess that my heart and spirit have been feeling isolated in the wilderness. My strength is failing and I am once again reminded that I cannot do these hard things without trusting my Father in Heaven to carry me through. You, God, have promised to hold me uphelp me to believe that with my whole heart. And thank you, Fatherfor never leaving my side. I will praise you when life is good and even when it's notbecause your love never fails. I love you, Lord. Amen.
