Prayer For Our Children's Protection
Protect them, Oh Heavenly Father, from violence, drug use, pedophiles, kidnappers and accidents as they go out to face this harsh, cruel world. We ask that you walk with them and never leave their sides.
Protect them on their going out and coming in, at work, at school, at play, while traveling or even just hanging out. Send your angels to guard and watch over them as they go out to face reality. Amen
My Savior, Lord, there is none like you. Your mighty power reigns over all the earth. We come before you on this precious day, to humbly beseech your protection upon the youths of the nation.
Guide them accordingly with your grace. Mold them into who they are destined to become. Help them to be ambitious and to be excellent young role models to their peers. But most of all, give them strength to repel bad company and negative influences. Amen
Father, as my children walk through their days, I pray You would give them clear direction in doing Your will, so they may remain within Your protection. Give them wisdom to know when to shy away from potential harm, both physically and spiritually. Then help them courageously walk away from it. May the blood of Jesus ash over each of my children, covering them as they walk through this day and every day of their lives. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
God of Protection, I thank You for Your hand upon my child's life. You created my child. My child belongs to You. When my child passes through the waters, You will be with him/her, and the rivers will not overwhelm my child. When my child walks through the fire, they will not be burned, and the flame will not consume him/her. For You are Lord our God, the Holy One of Israel, our Savior. You are our Divine Protector, I place my child's life in Your hands. Amen.
Good Good Father, I know that You are the Shepherd that ensures that my child shall not want for anything. You will make my child lie down in green pastures beside the still waters. I proclaim that You shall restore my child's soul. Even as my child walks through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear because they are protected by You. Your rod and staff will always be a comfort to my child, I know that they will stay equipped against all threats to their protection. Amen.
Prince of Peace, You know the challenges our brothers and sisters face in helping people and working for peace. We ask that You give grace to World Vision's staff to fulfill the responsibilities You've placed in their hands. Thank You for empowering them to be Your hands and feet.
Dear Lord, Your Word is filled with accounts of miraculous protection. We claim that power for vulnerable children. Make Your little ones invisible to people who seek to exploit them. Whisper in the ears of the children to run and hide until the danger passes.
Jesus i ask for your protection on the children of our church and others who have parents that are divorced. Too often these precious children are used to hurt the other parent or grand parents. Draw these children closer to your side, Lord and soften and fill their parents hearts with your precious love so that the children may freely grow spiritually in strength and joy. amen
