Prayer For New Parents
May ________ not be distracted, discouraged or doubtful and thus neglect the spiritual gift You have given him/her. Give them the tenacity to take great pains to maintain the path You have cleared for them and to be absorbed in the work You have laid before them. (1 Timothy 4:14-15)
Lord, please cause _______________ to be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in Your work. Help them to know that their toil is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Heavenly Father I ask that you bless everyone that is in a similar situation and looking for fulfillment, I pray they are looking to you for guidance and encouragement. Thank you for everything you have given and taken away as I know there is a reason for everything and there is a test with every testimony.
I ask that I will be restored and allow me to finally find a way to build my business so I never have to worry about job lost from the hands of others allow me to make my own way to build my own success in the ALMIGHTY name of Jesus!
Abba Father, as we focus on new beginnings, show us how to let go of the unforgiveness we hold in our hearts. Help us Lord to release those who have wronged us.
Let us apply wisdom in all situations. In everything we do, it is my prayer that we will surrender to Your will and co-operate with the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
Dear God,
I lift up new parents to you right now. I pray that you help them in transitioning to this new role and equip them to take care of their little blessing. I pray that you would remove any fears or any anxiety that comes from raising kids. May your peace fill our hearts, consume us so that fears cannot grow. May you give new parents confidence in their ability to raise their little blessing and to feel confident in any decisions made for the child. I pray that your power would manifest in husbands and wives who are new to parenting and just help us all along the way. Thank you for trusting us with these beautiful blessings. May your will be done in our families.

Speak deeply into my spirit; mentoring my decisions, teaching me to be a mother. I rest in Your assurance to provide beyond what I can give. I take heart in knowing that Your knowledge is complete. I can quit worrying because You promise to be what I cant. Because confidence is mine through Christ and because You are more than adequate in all things, I pray in Your great name.

Dear God of Abundance,
You know my fears even before I speak them, but still, I lay them before You. I am overwhelmed by how much I dont know, and I feel wholly inadequate for the task of parenting.
I have read the books and watched the videos until my mind is fuzzy from information overload. Im not sure whats right. Do babies sleep on their backs or is it their sides? Should I nurse every three hours or on demand? Pacifier or no pacifier? Cloth or disposable? Strollers? Car seats? Bath time? Everyone has an incredibly detailed opinion.
God, author of all life,
bless, we pray, this parents;
give constant protection
and grant a healthy birth
that is the sign of our rebirth one day
into the eternal rejoicing of heaven.
Lord, who have brought to this woman
the wondrous joy of motherhood,
grant her comfort in all anxiety
and make her determined
to lead her child along the ways of salvation.
