Prayer For My Soul And Mind
Faithful Father, thank you that you are perfectly faithful; you never forget, never fail and never take back a promise. You have said that I do not need to fear, for you are with me; I do not need to be dismayed, for you will strengthen and help me. When I am daunted by the pressures of business, increase my faith that I may depend on your strength for my success. May God the Father prepare my journey, Jesus the Son guide my footsteps and the Holy Spirit watch over me, on every path that I follow. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
O blessed Jesus, give me stillness of soul in You. Let your mighty calmness reign in me. Rule me, O King of Gentleness, King of Peace.
Let the arrows from God begin to slay the guardians of every strange calabash, causing childlessness in my family.
The power and peace that will overtake them will have them wanting more of You.
I pray that they will learn to ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and as they walk in victory and obedience, they will also declare that Jesus is their Lord and Saviour.
O my God, in You I trust, do not let me be ashamed; do not let my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed. Thank You, Father, that I can place my complete trust in You to keep my soul pure and holy. Continue to guide me so that I will never be ashamed of my behavior, words or thoughts. I praise You that if I will wait for You and seek after Your heart, I will never be ashamed.
As he sat by the river,
the eyes of his understanding began to be opened;
not that he saw any vision,
but he understood and learnt many things,
both spiritual matters and matters of faith and of scholarship,
and this with so great an enlightenment
that everything seemed new to him.
Dear Lord and Father of humankind,
Forgive our foolish ways;
Reclothe us in our rightful mind,
In purer lives Thy service find,
In deeper reverence, praise.
Drop Thy still dews of quietness,
Till all our strivings cease;
Take from our souls the strain and stress,
And let our ordered lives confess
The beauty of Thy peace.
Breathe through the heats of our desire
Thy coolness and Thy balm;
Let sense be dumb, let flesh retire;
Speak through the earthquake, wind, and fire,
O still, small voice of calm.
Almighty God, We bless you for our lives, we give you praise for your abundant mercy and grace we receive. We thank you for your faithfulness even though we are not that faithful to you.
Lord Jesus, we ask you to give us all around peace in our mind, body, soul and spirit. We want you to heal and remove everything that is causing stress, grief, and sorrow in our lives.
Please guide our path through life and make our enemies be at peace with us. Let your peace reign in our family, at our place of work, businesses and everything we lay our hands on.
Let your angels of peace go ahead of us when we go out and stay by our side when we return.
