Prayer For My Parents Health
I ask You to give my parent a trusting and thankful heart, especially as days grow more difficult (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Help my aging parent take every disappointment to You. Preserve from any bitterness or spirit of discontent (Psalm 25:21).
I pray the Holy Spirit will teach and comfort, guide and calm (John 16:13; 2 Corinthians 1:4), and that my parent will not become discouraged in aging.
Father,
Your love is as wide as the oceans, as deep as the sea, and as tall as the heavens. May your spirit rise like a mighty wave and come and restore those who are ill. You are the water of life. You are a fresh spring. You are healing rain to all those who are in need.
Come, Lord!
Dear God,
Dispel their fear. End their anxiety. Wipe worry from their mind. May the one they care about find good health and complete recovery. Make known the healing power of Your hands. Give comfort and shelter beneath Your wings. Grant restorative sleep tonight and safe passage to tomorrow.

Help us put our trust in You. You Lord are the greatest physician.
You heal, You protect, You care, You love, You are kind, You are patient,
You are thoughtful, You are strength. You Lord are our Creator.
You know our thoughts, our sighings and our cryings and every hair on our head.
You are Wonderful and make all good things for us. Heal us Lord, if it be Your will.

Almighty God,
You are the only source of health and healing. In you there is calm, and the only true peace in the universe. Grant to each one of us your children especially to my parents an awareness of your presence, and give us perfect confidence in you. In all pain and weariness and anxiety teach us to yield ourselves to your never-failing care, knowing that your love and power surround us, trusting in your wisdom and providence to give us health and strength and peace when your time is best; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

May you desire to be healed. May what is wounded in your life be restored to good health. May you be receptive to the ways in which healing needs to happen. May you take good care of yourself. May you extend compassion to all that hurts within your body, mind, and spirit. May you be patient with the time it takes to heal. May you be aware of the wonders of your body, mind, and spirit and their ability in returning you to good health. May you be open to receive from those who extend kindness, care, and compassion to you. May you rest peacefully under the sheltering wings of divine love, trusting in this gracious presence. May you find little moments of beauty and joy to sustain you. May you keep hope in your heart. Amen.
Lord of Heaven,
I rest underneath you mighty wings of love.
I dwell within your gentle heart.
I know there is healing in your touch.
Through the sufferings of Christ I can ask for restoration
And trust in your goodness.
You are my Lord, my Saviour,
My healer and my friend.
I dwell within your gentle embrace.

May God heal you with fresh leaves growing.
May your heart be refreshed with the blooms
That spring up to reveal His glory
And promises that you'll be renewed.
May God fill you with sunlight that dances
May your body be warmed by the sun
That shines in to cut the darkness,
And promises happier times.
May God shower you with winds of healing.
May your cares be replaced with fresh hope,
That blows through the hardship you've suffered
And leaves you in new love to soak in.
