Prayer For My Mother In Heaven
Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, that we may walk the paths of the Most High.
And we shall beat our swords into ploughshares, and our spears into pruning hooks.
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation- neither shall they learn war any more. And none shall be afraid, for the mouth of the Lord of Hosts has spoken
May the warm winds of heaven / blow softly upon your house. / May the Great Spirit / bless all who enter there. / May your moccasins / make happy tracks / in many snows, / and may the rainbow / always touch your shoulder.
Have compassion in thy mercy, on the souls of my mother; forgive her sins, and grant that I may see them in the joy of eternal brightness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Lord, forgive our unbelief. Forgive the times we've doubted that you could ever change a distant heart. Forgive our hard-heartedness, our weariness, or forgetfulness to pray continually. Thank you that you never give up on us. Remind us of how you've changed our own hearts. How your miracle of life and hope has sprung up deep within our souls. We love you Lord, we need you, and we thank you that you hear our prayers and are at work even now. Powerfully. Faithfully. Miraculously. Thank you for the gift of our Savior, God with us. Thank you for your goodness and love. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Mothers are a gift from heaven God uses to demonstrate his love for all children.
No one will ever love you like God or a mother does,
But take solace in the fact that you'll meet again someday.
There are many things I'll remember
About my mom.
How soft her hands were,
How her eyes sparkled,
How her smile lit up her entire face.
I'll remember the hearty sound of her laugh,
And the tone of her voice when
Someone disappointed her.
But most of all, I'll remember how I felt
When she said to me, "I love you."
That was the best feeling in the world,
To know this very special woman
Loved me with all her heart.
Of all the memories that may dim
In the coming years,
That feeling is something I know
I'll never forget. And I just want to say,
I love you too, Mom.
Mother, you have been a great source of inspiration to me all my life, and I don't know what I would have done without you. It is my prayer that the Lord bless you with happiness that never ends.
God of Immeasurable Mercies, by your power, Jesus conquered death and ascended in glory. I entrust my mother into your care, in the name of Jesus Christ. As my mother has departed to live for eternity with you, I thank you for the memories I have. I thank you that she was made in your image and reflected your love. You are the Lord of all life, you brought my mother into existence and you have now called her home. I pray that she will enjoy the fullness of your presence through all eternity. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
