Prayer For My Husband's Mind

Satan I command you to retreat from my husband in Jesus' name. He belongs to the Most High God along with the rest of our household and you hold no claim over us. I take authority over you right now and render you harmless in our lives.

Lord please give him wisdom he can only receive from you. Help him to recognize it and receive it. I speak favor over him with You and with people. I pray divine inspiration and success over him.

Lord, I pray for Your protection on my husband's mind. Shield him from the lies of the enemy. Help him to clearly discern between Your voice and any other, and show him how to take every thought captive as You have instructed us to do. May he thirst for Your Word and hunger for Your truth so that he can recognize wrong thinking.

Lord, I pray that You would strengthen my husband to resist any temptation that comes his way. Stamp it out of his mind before it ever reaches his heart or personal experience.

Lord, please lord work your loving hands into my husbands heart and soften and fill it up with love, for you and me, for him to awaken from this fog of hate and anger, and allow peace and joy to enter his heart once again, I ask for the healing of his heart and mind, and the ill feelings he has towards me to be lifted and burned away, and if anyone is interferring in the restoration of our marriage for them to open their heart and eyes, and realize that what they are doing is wrong in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Father, I praise You for my husband, Your unique creation. Please guard his heart and mind, Jesus. Protect him from temptation and fill him up with the good things he needs. You've promised to fill his soul with what he needs and I ask You to do just that.

Lord, I place my husband before You knowing You will make him new in his thoughts. Convict him and enable him to stand against the wiles of the devil when an attack is made upon his mind. Help him to stand strong, being clear minded and self-controlled so He can hear You when he prays. (1Pet.4:7) May he think on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely whatever is admirable or praiseworthy, so that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will be able to further guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:8,7) Amen.

Dear Jesus, our thoughts can be deceptive, most often put there when we let our feelings reign. Do not let my husband walk in ways that are not good, or pursue his own thoughts and imaginations (Is. 65:2) Instead make him wise and discerning with a mind like Christs (1Cor.2:16), weighing his thoughts with the truth of Your word.
