Prayer For My Baby
Father, we bow before You in reverence and fear, asking for Your healing touch on the life of this little child. We are concerned Lord, about this chronic illness and pray that in Your grace and mercy, this little baby might be quickly healed and speedily nursed back into full health and strength.
Comfort this little one and ease the suffering and discomfort that they are going through, and we pray that the distressing symptoms of this chronic sickness would soon be reduced and that the baby returns to normal health, in every part of their body.
Give the doctors the wisdom to treat this illness correctly and quickly. Strengthen and help the parents and all who are involved in the nursing care and give them all they may need to continue to look after such a sick child. May they be able to lay all of their worries and concerns down at Your feet, knowing that You are the God Who cares for little children and You are a God Who heals.
May Your peace that passes understanding guard the hearts of the parents in the days that lie ahead, and we will give You all the praise and all the glory. In Jesus' name,

Dear Heavenly Father, what a joy the birth of a new little baby brings and we thank You for the safe delivery of this little life, and ask You to pour out Your special blessing upon them and the whole family.
We thank You for the gift of children and the joy that they bring into the lives of so many, and we offer You this new-born baby and entrust their little life into Your safe-keeping.
Guard and protect this little one, we pray. Enfold them in Your love and grace, and we ask that in Your grace and mercy, that the light of Your love would shine into their little life and that one day they would come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name we pray,

Dear Heavenly Father, You are a God Who has a special place for babies and young children in Your tender heart, and You know that we live in a fallen world where many babies and young children are often in danger, not only from external issues but even from those that care for them. And so we ask for Your loving protection to surround all babies and young children, and that You keep each one free from harm.
And so we entrust all vulnerable young children and tiny babies into Your loving hands for safe keeping, and pray that nothing evil will befall any one of them, and that they will be lovingly protected from any physical harm or emotional trauma.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering prayer. May this generation of babies and toddlers grow up desiring to know more of You in the days that lie ahead. This we ask in Jesus' name,

Heavenly Father, I bring before You all women that are pregnant, and all couples that are expecting a little baby to be born into their home. I ask Your protection for all babies that are secretly being formed in the womb of their mother.
I ask for their protection, preservation and healthy growth while still developing in the womb, and I pray that expectant mothers will be given the wisdom and grace to avoid the things that can prove so detrimental to the development of the pre-born child.
I pray that You would surround all pre-born babies with a hedge of protection, and that each little life may develop into the perfectly healthy new-born baby, knowing that there are so many problems that can affect a child in the womb and injure their physical and cognitive development.
Lord it was You that said, "suffer the little children to come unto Me and forbid them not," and so I pray that each one would be born into a family that loves and cherishes them and that each one would learn of Jesus in the days that lie ahead. In Jesus' name,

Heavenly Father we want to bring before You the little new-born lives that are having to go through invasive and often complicated surgery so early in their little lives. Be near to each baby that is facing surgery today and we pray that You would guide the hands of the surgeons and other staff that are involved with the surgery, and provide them with the wisdom and skill to perform the surgery without complications.
We also lift up the parents and wider families of tiny babies that are facing surgery today and pray that Your perfect peace would guard their hearts and minds as they face the difficult task of seeing their precious baby being prepared for surger, having to hand them over and wait for the duration of the operation.
Lord, into Your hands we place these parents and babies. In Jesus' name,

Heavenly Father, what joy fills my heart for the precious little baby you have seen fit to bring into our family unit. I lift up my voice of praise to You, with a grateful heart for this little life that has been entrusted to me.
Teach me to be a good and faithful mother and to take the responsibilities of motherhood seriously. Teach me also how to bring up my child to know You Lord Jesus, so that my precious little baby will grow up to accept You as their Saviour. And Lord, You Who loved to welcome the little children into your arms, open Your arms of love I pray for us, and keep us all safe from harms way, under the protection of Your wings of love.
As this little bundle of joy starts to grow and develop, give me wisdom to teach and train, to correct and to encourage. May I be both fair and wise, and combine a balance between correction and encouragement. Guide our little family unit in the ways of peace I pray, and thank You my heavenly Father for the wonderful blessing that has come from You. In Jesus' name,

Heavenly Father, the baby that has been growing within my womb for these many months is now in an incubator fighting for life, and I feel numb and utterly helpless.
Lord, You know the joy and excitement and also the tears and grief that we have gone through these last few weeks and months, and that our emotions are shot through with so many fluctuating feelings because of this unexpected and premature delivery. I pray that in Your pity and grace, You would touch the life of my precious little one and spare their life, and bring them through into full health and strength.
Lift the heavy burden from my heart and help me to come to terms with what has happened, and I pray that I may be able to accept that nothing happens that is not in Your permissive will. I ask that You would give me the strength, day by day, to cope with this unexpected set of circumstances.
Protect my baby from any other form of infection or illness, and may this little body be strengthened through Your mighty power with each passing day. Give the doctors and nurses the skill to do all that is needed to care for my baby, and give me the sufficient strength that only comes from You. May Your peace reside in my heart, knowing that all things work together for good to those that are called according to Your good purpose. Thank You, Father, in Jesus' name,
