Prayer For Inauguration Of New Building
Father,
Praise You for this event, and Your purpose for it. We know that when we gather together, You always have a divine agenda. We love You for that, Father. That even when we have done what You have asked, the results are
so much greater than we ever could have imagined. Even in failed attempts, You blow us away with Your faithfulness to provide what we need.
Our prayer today is that Your will be done through this event. Take what we have prepared and multiply our efforts as only You can. Steer our intentions to align with Your righteous will. Remind us of Your faithful provision when our efforts fail us or fall short. May all glory go up to You when we reach the finish line and climb over benchmarks. Blanket us with Your peace today, Father. Keep us physically safe and guard our hearts and minds from pride and selfishness. Keep love at the forefront of our minds today, and the guiding light for all we set out to accomplish and celebrate.

Thank You for every seat that has been filled here, today. For each mind and heart that fills the presence of this room, we thank You. Only You truly know what we are setting out to accomplish today. We have an idea,
a vision, hints, and daily instructions. We have talents, abilities, and time to work. However, only You can see in perfect detail the end of every beginning. Every project, every season, every life. Nothing is ever in
vain, for even mistakes and missteps are used for good.
Your righteousness transcends all our efforts and understanding. Forgive us for our pride. The pride that puffs us up and the pride that threatens to unqualify us. Strengthen our confidence in who You have made us to be. Set us free from comparison in order to work together efficiently.
Bless this meeting today, all those present, as well as the lives of those we will encounter afterward. Ready us to make every moment count.

God, our all-provident Father, | you have placed the earth and its fruits under our care, | so that by our labor we will endeavor | to ensure that all share in the benefits of your creation. | Bless all those who will use this building | either as buyers or sellers, | so that by respecting justice and charity | they will see themselves as working for the common good | and find joy in contributing to the progress of the earthly city. | We ask this through Christ our Lord. O God, | in your wise providence | you are glad to bless all human labor, | the work of our hands and of our minds. | Grant that all who plan and conduct business in this office | may, through your guidance and support, | come to right decisions and carry them out fairly. | We ask this through Christ our Lord. Father, we thank You for Your faithful love for us that never ends and Your mercy which never ceases. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lord, You are God. You created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. You made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. You are the Lord and there is no other. You publicly proclaim bold promises; You do not whisper obscurities in dark corners. We thank You for giving our leaders the vision to build. Thank You for providing the resources for us to build. Thank You, Father, for being a wall of fire and protection around our congregation, families and those involved in the construction of this new building.
Father, we command that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven for the construction of the (Name the facility) project. We believe that You will make our thoughts agreeable to Your will, so that the plans for this project may be established and succeed. Your Word, Father, declares that for lack of advice, plans go wrong; but with many advisers there is success. Therefore, we confess that we will seek the counsel of the godly as we proceed with this project. We declare that we will write the vision for this new project plainly so that those involved can run and carry the correct message to others. Father, we expect You to call forth competent and skilled laborers for this project, just as You called forth the artisans for the building of the tabernacle. We confess that they will be filled with the Spirit of wisdom, understanding and knowledge in all manner of workmanship. We proclaim that all involved in this project will focus their attention and efforts so that they can successfully complete their assignments and bring glory and honor to Your Name. Father, we are confident that the new facility will be completed, because You have begun this good work. Lord, I commit to praying without ceasing for this project.
Father, please bless this new building project to provide activities for our Church Family and the families in the community that will promote growth, development, relaxation and enjoyment. Please provide all of the wisdom, finances, and resources that we will need to build a state-of-the-art facility. We ask You to provide adequate funding, competent professionals, and skilled laborers for the construction. Please give us favor with the surrounding communities and the nation. Father, stir up the faith in me so that I will walk by faith and not by sight and give to this vision.
Father, please forgive us for questioning the vision You have given to our Pastor, and for not submitting to his/her authority. Forgive us for having loose lips and speaking idle words against this project. Forgive us Lord for not coming together as a church body, concerning the building project. Please forgive us for all of our sins. Father, remind us of those we need to forgive and we will be quick to forgive.
As a Church Family, please do not lead us to temptation; but deliver us from evil.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours and this is Your Kingdom. We adore You as the One who is over all things. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
God, who sanctify the places dedicated to Your name, pour out Your grace on this house of prayer, that all who here call on Your name may experience Your kind assistance; through Christ our Lord.
