Prayer For Husband To Soften His Heart
Almighty God, Your Word reminds us that a soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. I pray that You help my husband and I to refrain from using harsh words one to another because a harsh statement provokes fury. Father, even though my husband has left, I declare peace over our relationship in Jesus Name. I pray that peace shall be restored to our hearts, by Your power and authority, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank You for my husband and even though we don't see eye to eye right now, help us in this difficult period. Father, although my husband has left, I acknowledge the divine heavenly agreement that You have joined us together as husband and wife. But God, if I am honest, it does not feel like a marriage, instead it feels like a war. However, I trust in Your Word and declare, that You can do exceedingly abundantly more than I could ever ask or think, according to Your Power that works in us, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Oh Lord My God, I pray for the heart, mind and soul of my husband. I pray that he reflects on our marriage and understands that he who trusts in his own heart is a fool as the heart is deceitful above all things. Allow him to trust in what You want for our marriage and help us not to be overly sensitive and react to the things that are unimportant. Unite us together, by Your power Lord, Amen.
Most Holy and Righteous Father, my husband has left the marital home, but You are a loving and all-knowing God. Lord, Your Word reminds me that, You will do a new thing and You make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert; so with You Lord, all things are possible. Therefore, I pray that my husband does not perish but instead comes to You for repentance. Lord, I place my marriage and the heart of my husband before You, Amen.
Lord, please soften my husband's heart and ease his pain. He has had a terrible year and the effects are making him do some uncharacteristic things. His father and brother are both going to die shortly. He is about to turn 50 and we have had difficulty financially this year. To add to the pain, he had an affair and he has renewed his friendship with his ex-mistress. He is under so much stress he has declared he plans on divorcing me and moving out. He has been a wonderful father and I take responsibility for my problems in our marriage. He is angry at me and feels no faith in our marriage any more. I am fearful he is making a decision under stress and running away. Please Lord, help him have faith in our marriage and clear his head of the fog. He has 2 teenagers who need their father and a wife who loves him and has forgiven him for his mistakes. Help heal his heart and turn his eyes back to the marriage. Lord, you know the pain he felt when his parents divorced and it has been a demon that has plagued him for years. Please help him to not repeat the history and recreate the same history for our children or himself. Lord, I need your guidance to help him and give him hope. I also pray that the ex mistress will find it in her heart to let go and not destroy a family. I have been praying and my faith is being tested. I have believed you have blessed me with many miracles this year, in spite of our difficulties - I only wish my husband could see them as clearly.
Lord, help me know what I should be praying for - guide me
Amen
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for my dear family and all that you have blessed me with. I pray for my husband today. May you fill him with your peace and strength. I pray that his day goes great and that you are able to spend time with him. Reveal yourself to him in marvelous ways Lord. I pray that you guard his heart and his mind from the temptation in the world. May you also soften my husband's heart in response to me and our marriage. May you soften my heart towards him. I pray that any barriers be let down, that we would communicate better to each other, and that we would live as a team for you. May you move through our marriage and may your will be done in Jesus' name AMEN!
Father,
Please turn my husband's heart into flesh and return him to me. I pray for full restoration in our marriage and much better than before. I rebuke the enemy from his strongholds against my husband and the people that are encouraging our separation/divorce. I pray for peace in our home. I pray that my husband's love for me will be stronger than before. Please end his seek in wanting to live the single life again into wanting to be whole with his family. Bring peace into our marriage. Remove the anger, the bitterness, the frustration, and any other emotion that my husband may be feeling towards me.
Father, I know these emotions are of the enemy, so I rebuke them right now in the name of Jesus! I declare there be joy, peace, love and unity like never before in our marriage. These things I pray in the name of Jesus, I declare and decree them to be so in your name Father. Amen
Father, thank You that You have given my husband a heart that is teachable. Even when he is unwillingly to change his views or ways, You have not given him a heart of stone, but of flesh, and You, O Lord, have abilities beyond measure to soften his heart, making it pliable to Your will and Your ways. Create in my husband a new heart and a steadfast spirit. (Ps.51:10)
Teach him Your way so that he will walk in Your truth. Give him an undivided heart; not entertaining both good and evil. (Ps.86:11) A good man brings good things out of the goodness of his heart, and the evil man evil things out of his heart.(Luke 6:45) Let my husband stand firmly and correctly in goodness.
You have said,I, the Lord, search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve. (Jer.17:9-10) Search his heart, Sweet Jesus. Ever so gently, search his heart. Test him and know his thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in him. Convict him in any areas where he needs to grow more gentle, loving, kind, humble or repentant. Guide him into Your everlasting way.(Ps.139:23-24)
When You test him and the road gets hard, don't let his heart be troubled.Prove Yourself to him so his trust in You may be established, further purifying his heart by faith. (John 14:1; Acts 15:9)
May those who scorn Your name or are far from You, see the good in my husband by his acts of humble service, making You appealing to all. May he find honor and respect in his life, his work, and his relationships. In Jesus' name. Amen.
