Prayer For Home And Family

Dear God,

Please pray for us that our family can forgive.

My daughter and I are estranged at this moment and I feel it is a bad influence in her life trying to change her belief in our Lord Jesus.. Also I have a new granddaughter the I want to see ..I am broken hearted.

Also pray for all suffering in these uncertain times..that Jesus watch over and protect the children and bring families closer to him.

Thank you.

Lord Jesus,

Please bless me and my family. Under your protection fill our life in harmony, hope and health. I pray for a sign of mercy, rescue us with a financial miracle out of debts. Let us find peace and able to live in a house with nature and fill our hearts with the holy spirit. I pray to all saints and our holy mother mary, lord have mercy, Amen.

Lord,

I want to thank You for this precious family of mine.

For the talents and good things that You have given each of us. Please keep us united, and our bond strong as the days pass.

Please guide us, protect us and equip us to do Your will each and every day. Thank You for all that You are, and all that You have given us.

My heart is forever grateful!

Heavenly Father, thank You for renewing our hearts and minds. Thank You for sending Your Spirit to us that we may express Your love to our families. We are also grateful to You for giving us our loved ones.

But we also admit, God, that we are not always the lovers of peace that You want us to be. There are times in our families when we fight and bicker with each other. There are times when we let anger, strife, and bitterness rule over our hearts and because of this, we end up hurting our families. We ask for You to forgive us, loving Father, for these sins against our own families. Change our hearts and make them truly loving.

Also enable us, Father God, to extend the same forgiveness to the members of our families whom we have hurt. Humble us, Lord, so that we may seek forgiveness without pride. We ask You to heal the wounds in their hearts as well. Touch their hearts that they may accept our pleas for forgiveness. Amen.

We also pray that You would restore the bonds that have been broken with some of our family members. We know, God, that there is nothing You would want more than feuding relatives to reconcile with each other. But we also admit, Lord, that we cannot do this on our own. For that, we ask Your Holy Spirit to surround us with Your love. May we be filled to the brim with love, that it may overflow and we may share it with our families. Allow us to be instruments of Your blessings to them. In due time, Lord, let our relationships also be restored. All these we pray in Your Name, Amen.

Guide our way, Lord, as we go on with our lives today. Also, be our shield as we go back home later. May you always preserve the bond that we have as a family, and may we look forward to seeing each other once again at home.

Guard our home as well, God, that no harm will fall on it as we are away. May it continue to be a sanctuary of blessing, comfort, and love for each one of us. Let it always be a restful place for our tired bodies at the end of the day.

Continue to protect us, Lord, as we rest at night. Allow no intruders or calamities to disturb my home tonight. I trust in your mighty power to keep me and my family safe from any form of evil. In Your Name, I ask all these things, Amen.

No matter what our faith background up to this point, we pray for a heritage of faith, godliness, righteousness, salvation, and a passion for Your Word and for the Gospel. Help us to take the time to teach our children truth. We don't want to ever be so busy that we neglect to teach our children about You. Give us the right words to say and guide our discussions with our children. May our children choose to marry strong Christians and raise their own children in Your Word. Where we have gone astray, we pray for grace and new opportunities. For our adult children and our grandchildren, we ask that You will turn their hearts and minds to You even now.

God, help us to keep this as our focus and never lose sight of the most important gift and responsibility you have given usthe salvation of our family. It's easy to get caught up in worldly standards of success and measures of our worth, especially as parents. But honor rolls, scholarships, awards, and accolades don't mean anything compared to salvation in Jesus Christ. Our greatest joy would be to see our children walking in the truth.' We pray that every member of our family will choose a personal, real, abiding, and powerful relationship with our Savior and that we will ask Him to reign over our lives both as a family and as individuals.
