Prayer For Helping Others
Matchless Father, I declare peace and joy in the hearts of Your people! I proclaim that You will bless Your children and will keep them; You will make Your face shine upon them and be gracious to them! I pray against the plans of the adversary to steal joy and peace from Your people. I declare that Your children will remain uplifted, for there is no one who can lift the soul like You do, Amen.
Jehovah Jireh, You are my provider! You are the source of all blessings! Your word declares that You, my God, will meet all my needs according to the riches of Your glory in Christ. Lord I know that You bless people in abundance, I know that Your children do not need to worry for You see them and will uplift and bless them. I magnify Your Name for You will always bless those who love You, Amen.
Philippians 4:19
God of Blessings, I know that if I give it will be given to me, so I pray that I give to those freely. I thank You because I know that a good measure, pressure down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into my lap. I don't have to chase Your blessings, for You give to Your people liberally without reproach. I pray that I show this same regard when I do good to others, because the same standard that I use will be measured to me in return, Amen.
Father,
Allow me to serve others with a joyful heart;
Never keeping score;
Always giving;
Never expecting to receive.
Allow me to give of myself,
To give of my talents and of my goods,
To give of my time and of my energy,
To give of my heart and of my soul.
Help me understand the needs of others,
Never criticizing,
Never demeaning,
Never scolding,
Never condemning.
You have been so gracious to me,
Always Loving,
Always forgiving,
Always restoring;
Never gloating over my defeats,
Even when I have been so wrong.
Father, keep a condemning spirit
Far from my heart and further from my lips.
Allow me to serve others as You serve,
With gentleness, compassion, and tenderness,
Never diminishing the worth of another,
Choosing to extend mercy to the brokenhearted,
Like You have repeatedly shown it to me,
Amen.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for my life. I know that you have equipped me with knowledge, talent, and resources. I pray that I can use all that you have given to me to help others. Use me to draw others toward you. I pray that helping others and seeing them succeed blesses you and honors you. I pray I would be generous with my time and what I have to offer to those in need, especially my wife and family.

Father, I thank you for the opportunity to help others. You have sent many people my way throughout the years and I pray that I have made a difference.
I thank you for directing me, many years ago, down a career path of helping. I've not gotten rich but you have met my needs and pulled me though some rough times. Thank you father. Now, I've reached the twilight of my career and I need your financial assistance to take care of my elderly parent and to provide a home.
One of my beloved parents has gone home to be with you and I thank you for allowing me to take care of him when he unable to take care of himself. I've not always been a wise steward of the personal finances you've given me.
I ask forgiveness for that. Now, the time has come for me to retire from my current work. I don't wish to stop helping people. I have a dream. You know what is is. If it be thy will allow it to happen.
Thank you for the many blessing you have bestowed upon me. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen
Dear God,
There are so many people in this world who are in need. Please show us how we can help. Use us Lord for Your glory and use us to be a blessing to others. I pray You would show us how to use our resources to help others. Give us eyes to see those who are in need. I pray that our marriages are used for a great purpose of drawing hearts back to You through generosity in Jesus' name AMEN!
Dear Lord,
Thank You for this beautiful day. Thank You for our families and our marriages! We praise You, Lord! Among all that we have, there are so many hurting and needy people. We lift them up to You and ask that You would bless them, help them, heal them. May Your peace fill their hearts and may joy shine! We ask that You intercede for them, fulfilling their needs according to Your will. We also pray that You would use us to help them in any way we can. Open our eyes and make us aware of the opportunities we have to bless others in need. Help us to not be selfish, help us to share. All that we have is Yours and we surrender to You. May Your will be done in Jesus' name AMEN!
