Prayer For Healing A Nation
Dear God, a nation that honors you is blessed. Lord, as we come before you to honor your holy name as a nation, we ask you humbly to prosper our economy, families, and relationships with other countries. Open up financial doors so that we can thrive in our economy. Help our leaders to engage in business relationships with the right nations. Let them also engage in treaties that align with your word and will. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Loving Father, your word says that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. God, help us to be a nation that fears you, a nation that is not afraid to acknowledge that you are the true living God. Help us to stop looking at worldly solutions and to focus on you. It is only through worshipping you in spirit and in truth that we will be able to have knowledge and understanding about the issues of life that are affecting our nation. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
O Precious King, the world and everything in it belongs to you. Father God, we come to you because the people of this nation and everything in it belong to you. We are not here by accident. You are the one who set us in this nation at this particular time for the glory of your name. But Father, people in this country are turning against each other. We no longer live like brothers and sisters. Brother has turned against brother and child against parent. But your word says that if we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways you will heal our land. Lord, heal our hearts, heal our land. Remove bitterness and resentment from our hearts and help us to live as brothers and sisters. In Jesus' name, Amen.
O Lord, I bring our President and other leaders in different positions before your throne of grace. May they find mercy and grace before you as they look for solutions to the different problems that are affecting our nation. May the President find the right advisors that will give him wise counsel. Expose and remove wrong people around these leaders that are up to no good. May all their demonic-inspired counsel be exposed and destroyed, in Jesus' name. Thank you, God, for leading us in the way that we should go as a nation. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Lord God, we have not been faithful people in these recent times. As a result, our peaceful and quiet nation has turned into a chaotic one. So many bad things are happening all around because we have given the enemy a footing over our lives and nation. O heavenly Father, turn our hearts towards you. Help us to live peaceful and quiet lives. Let our leaders advocate for peace and love instead of chaos. May the words that come from their mouths be words that edify the nation. May we find peace within our borders. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
Father, I repent on behalf of this nation. We have become people who are only interested in things that give us temporary pleasure. We no longer fear you, Lord. I ask you to forgive us. Purify this nation with the blood of Jesus. Turn our hearts away from different idols that we have created as a nation and individuals. Help us to walk in ways that honor your Holy name. Give us leaders that will lead us towards you and your word. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
Father God, good leaders, come from you. Lord, this nation needs leaders with discerning hearts and wise minds. We come to you today asking you to give us wise leaders that will lead this nation in the right direction. Remove wrong people that are corrupt and living against your word from influential positions. Let our leaders be people who honor your holy name for it is only from you that they will get true wisdom. It is in the mighty name of Jesus that we believe and pray, Amen.
Dear God,
Thank you for your great power. We praise you for your Truth. We're grateful that you have set us free from the clutching grasp of sin and death. Would you be with your people, extending your grace, granting your freedom, providing your protection, and empowering with your strength. We ask that you'd bring about an awakening of your presence as never seen before. We ask that your Name be proclaimed, that all plans to silence the Name of Jesus would be thwarted and crushed. We pray that many would come to know you as Lord and Savior, we pray that many would see your Light, that you would open blind eyes and release those still imprisoned.We pray that you would unify your people for the glory of your Name that all who call themselves Christians would rise up, believing your great Truth. Wake us up Lord! Remind us to live aware, to redeem the time, to listen to your words, to be willing to make a difference in this land. We pray for all those in authority, that you would give them your wisdom and discernment as they lead. We ask that you would appoint strong, faithful men and women to serve this nation and our people.
We pray for your great healing on our land. Shine your face on us dear God. We need you now, more than ever before. Our times are in your hands. Thank you that you are rich in mercy and full of grace. Thank you that you are forgiving and merciful. Thank you that you are strong and mighty. Thank you that you are for us and that you fight for us still today. Bring honor to your Name, Oh Lord, for You alone are worthy.
