Prayer For Hard Working Husband
Dear Lord, I pray for a hedge of Angels over my husband & his job. I pray that you would protect his position. Lord I pray that you would be with him on the job all day & everyday. That you would bridle the tongue of any backstabbers, gossipers, or any false accusations. I pray Lord that you would give him peace about things & that he would find favor with you Lord & with his bossesin your sweet name Jesus Amen
Heavenly Father,
I ask you to surround my husband with your peace during this trying time in his life. Everything is demanding his time and attention and he feels torn in so many directions. With all of the extra distractions and frustrations in life, it is easy for him to forget how much you love him. I know you have good things for him. I trust you are in charge of each detail in his life. I know that he is safe in your Hands, and you will never forsake him. Remind him of your goodness and mercy. Let him rest in knowing You are there to care for him when things seem too impossible to conquer.
I pray he casts all of his cares on You because you care for him (1 Peter 5:7). You provide strength when we feel weak, and he isn't required to work harder in order to gain Your approval or acceptance. May we understand your transforming grace as we walk out this life with You. When we fail, remind us we are loved and forgiven because of Your sacrifice on the cross. Thank you for this gift. Even though life can be so painful, we know you have overcome this life and you are with us in our sufferings. I pray my husband will feel Your nearness during the dark times in his life.
I pray for protection over my husband in all areas of his life. At home, I pray you bless him as he leads his family. Thank you for his desire to bring you glory and to teach our children Your truths. Show me ways to bless him and support him in this. Help me to honor him, esteem him, and appreciate him. I pray you bless the work of his hands as he provides for his family. Guard his steps and keep his heart safe while he is at work and away from home. When he feels discouraged, I pray he looks back over his life and sees how faithful You have been. I pray this gives him peace, richer joy, and more stability in the middle of stressful times.
Thank you for the covenant of marriage, and the blessing of family. I am so grateful for my husband and I thank you for bringing him into my life.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen
Father, bless my husband's work. Help him find the perfect balance between working too hard provide for his family, and not being disciplined enough to take on his responsibility as provider of his home. On one hand, working too hard will result in burn out and neglect of his family, while on the other hand, being lazy will result in the ruin of himself and his family. I pray you will teach him the importance of balance between work and rest. I pray he will make it his ambition to lead a quiet and simple life so that his daily work may win the respect of outsiders. May he work with his own hands so that he will not grow dependent on anybody. (1 Thess. 4:11-12)
Lord, lead him to the work You would have him do. May he bring You into every aspect of his work. Where there is anything not glorifying to You, convict him and then supply him the courage to make the necessary changes. May he commit to you whatever he does, so his plans may succeed. (Pr. 16:3) May he be strong and courageous, and do the work. May he not be afraid or discouraged, knowing You, the Lord God, are with him. You will not fail or forsake him. (1 Chr.28:20) May he do whatever You have him do with all his heart, as working for Yo and not for man. (Col.3:23)
Give my husband a sense of fulfillment from his work. One that can only come from being in complete submission to Your will. I know so much of who a man is, is tied up in his work. Where he is not in Your will lead Him to better. Help him to see past the dollar signs and rest secure in knowing that what You would have him do will provide over and abundantly beyond what he could ever imagine for his family. Give him peace and clear direction of Your plan for his life's work. Nothing is better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. (Ecc.3:22)
Father, I pray the people You bring into my husbands path through his work, will be of good reputation and report. Guide him away from anyone or anything that could harm his very livelihood. You guide the hearts of kings like a stream, (Pr.21:1) so I know You are capable of steering my husband away from bad business deals. May the people he works with be people of integrity, honesty and right standing with You, Father, always encouraging and strengthening my husband's walk with You.
Help me, also, encourage my husband in whatever You would have him do, not coming in the way of Your will. Give me words that will strengthen his courage to stand for You, saying what he needs to hear when he needs to hear it and not what I think he needs to hear, when I think he needs to hear them. Help me accept his work, knowing You are in control and will not bring us to ruin. You have promised hope and a future for us and our family; to prosper us and not to harm us. (Jer.29:11) I firmly hold on to that promise. May the words I speak affirm what he has already heard from You, always encouraging, never condemning.
Lead him, guide him and direct him, then surround him, encourage him and enable him to do his life's work humbly, willingly and thoroughly. Amen.
God, I thank You that You are the good, good Father. Would you help my husband's parenting to reflect You? May his children know Your heavenly love personally and experience it through their earthly father.
Lord, I pray that You would provide encouraging friendships for my husband. That he would know he is never alone because You are with him, but I ask for others to speak into his life and sharpen him as he sharpens them.
Father, in a day when the world speaks with complete corruption, keep my husband's words pure before You. I pray that he would use his words just as You would have him to. I praise You for his personality and pray for purposeful conversations in our marriage.
Lord, I pray that You would bless my husband's work. That he would be diligent and prosperous. That You would give him wisdom and discernment. God, I pray You would give him strength to walk the opportunities you provide. Thank you, Lord.
Dear Father,
I lift up my husband and his job up to you. I ask that you be with him while he is at work, and bless his efforts. Give him strength, patience, and wisdom in the situations he faces and the tasks he completes. I pray he feels Your nearness and your peace each day.
When he feels stress or is overwhelmed with anxiousness, I pray You calm him and give him peace. When he feels like the pressure is too much, let him lean into You and find rest. I know you love him and have good things in mind for him. In spite of the difficulties he faces each day, You are there.
Thank you for the blessing of a job. Thank you for his willingness to serve You and provide for his family. Help us to be good stewards of the many blessings in our lives. Guide my husband in all decisions, and develop his skills as he continues to work hard. When he encounters failure, help him to see your grace. When he makes mistakes, draw him close with your kindness and forgiveness. He has so much to offer and has many talents, but I pray it would all be done for your Glory. Help us to look for ways to bless others with our time and resources.
I ask that you protect him from harm. Surround him, lift him up, and keep his eyes on you each day. Help him to excel and enjoy the success that comes from hard work, without overdoing things. Help him to balance his time between work, spending time with his family, and most of all seeking You. Bless the relationships he forms at his workplace, including co workers, friends, and those he interacts with regularly.
I pray his boss will appreciate his efforts. Help my husband to persevere with joy, knowing that it's all for You. When he is tired, frustrated, and wants to give up, remind him of Your great love for him. Let my husband recall your promise to never leave him. I pray he feels your presence each day.
In your name I pray,
Amen
