Prayer For Good Relationship
Jesus, you laid a blanket of grace upon the earth when you bore the sins of the world.
Thank you.
I ask that this blanket would cover us now, soft with forgiveness, heavy with love, warm with hope and wide enough to hold us at this time.
In this safe place, I ask for the blessing of good communication, for secure intimacy and for renewed hopes and dreams to be ours.
Amen.
As we draw near to you, Quiet our minds Refresh our spirits Inspire our hearts Bind us together With your truth. We dwell in your promise Rest in your grace Bathe in your restoration Meditate on your goodness. Bind us together With your love.
Father God we thank you for divine health in our physical bodies, spiritual life, and marriage. We pray that you will make known to us anything that we are doing that does not directly correlate with healthy living; body, spirit, soul.
Give us the strength to honor you through our bodies as they are the temple of the Lord. Give us the wisdom to continuously build a healthy spiritual life and marriage with you at the center.
Help us to always remember the sacrifice you made that gave us the promise of healing and peace. You are worthy to be praised! In Jesus' name we pray. Amen!
Dear God, in Your presence we renew our whole-hearted choice to love. Bless this holy commitment with courage, strength, tenacityand most of all joy! Amen.
Mighty God, thank you that you give the gift of abundant, eternal life. You have said that your people should be fruitful and multiply, that your love should overflow from us to others and that we can participate in creation with you. May we rejoice in the gift of children and would the love that you have poured into our hearts, overflow to them. Increase our faith that we will view our lives in the light of eternity. May we know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge. May we be filled with all the fullness of God. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
God of Enduring Faithfulness, may we be filled with love for each other that reflects your love for us. Your love is not easily angered. Let us be slow to anger and rich in love for each other. Your love keeps no record of wrongs, let us be quick to forgive each other. Your love rejoices in truth, let us be honest with each other. Your love always protects, let us protect each other. May we love each other in the same way we have been loved by you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that you can satisfy our every desire and need. You have said that if we delight ourselves in you, you will give us the desires of our hearts. Please help us to encourage each other to trust in you for every aspect of our lives and relationship. Help us to spur each other on in our faith. May we worship you together. You are the God of endurance and encouragement. Help us to live in harmony with each other, that together we may, with one voice, glorify Jesus Christ. Through your mighty name, Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please bless our marriage with an abundance of joy. We started off strong, and it's our deepest desire that we finish that way.
Some couples go through life barely communicating, hardly enjoying each other's company, and missing out on the many blessings that marriage can bring.
We want more for our marriage. We want to be able to laugh together and to enjoy this journey we're on. Remind us to look for joy and to choose it over our sorrow. As long as we're living, may we always find a reason to smile.
