Prayer For God's Will To Be Done
Lord, at times I just wish that You would send me a letter or call me on the telephone and let me know with clarity what Your will is for my life, so that I may fulfil all the plans that You have purposed for me.
Help me to lay aside my own personal preferences and learn to say, "Thy will be done." Equip me I pray, to recognise Your gentle promptings and the wise counsel that is hidden in Your Word, and keep me from being swayed by my own fleshly inclinations.
Tenderise my heart so that I am able to discern the nudges and tugs from the Holy Spirit and give me wisdom to make godly choices as I patiently wait for Your designated time.
Lord, although it would be amazing to have a letter or call from You, I do recognise that we are to live this life by faith and not by sight or sound, visions or dreams, so help me to keep my focus on the Lord Jesus, knowing that the closer I draw to Him, the more I will forget myself and my own desires, and the more I will discover Who You are and What You desire of me. This I ask in Jesus' name,

Dear Lord, times are really hard right now and life has really got me down. I don't know what to do. I ask that You bestow Your wisdom upon me. I don't want to lean on my own knowledge anymore, because it has let me down so many times. I need to hear Your voice. Give me the discernment to hear Your voice and Your voice alone. Speak to me in the way You know I will hear you best. I also pray for Your Will, Lord. I give You the praise and the glory in my circumstances because I know that I am exactly where You want me. I know this is to teach me something or to help me to grow. No matter what, I trust you and ask You to show what is best in this situation. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
O Lord, my Heavenly Father, I praise your holy name. I pray for your will to be done in my life and in this world, for your way to rule here on earth as it does in heaven. I'm not in control, Lord, you are, even though that's often hard for me to admit and accept. I'm releasing what comes next into your hands, O Lord, and trusting you fully. I want to step into whatever path you lay before me, even when it looks different from what I thought I wanted. For I know you have bigger plans for my life, so I submit my life to your will. I will trust and obey you with an eager and joyful heart. Father, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
Lord Jesus, have Your way in me. Your kingdom come and Your will be done and Your name honored, on earth and in my heart, just as it is in heaven. Amen.
We are to pray that God's will might be done and that Christians might stand firm in the will of God. Realizing that man's will conflicts with the will of God, we pray that God's will be done rather than our own. It is not wrong to pray for deliverance but we must understand that it can be God's will that we suffer, even if we do not understand why. God is not directly responsible for all that happens. Time and chance happen to them all. Just because God can heal someone, does not mean that it is according to His will. For those who love God, all things work together for good. We can pray with full assurance that we will receive what God has promised in Scripture. In everyday affairs, however, we depend on the Holy Spirit to intercede for us according to the will of God. Let us pray for God's will to be done. Amen.
Dear God, for me to have complete joy in my life I have to do your will. I pray that through all the challenges and difficulties that I face do not separate me with your word. I know that when your word is in me you are there for me. Give me strength and power to overcome all the trials that I am facing. In the name of Jesus Christ I know that all things are possible and everything that I ask in His name is being done for me. Let your Holy Spirit take control in everything I do and continue to give me wisdom and knowledge to preach the good news to the lost. Set me free from all evil desires and create in me a pure heart. I know that I will continue to face a lot in life but I am not afraid because your word says all things worketh together for the good to those who love God and those who are called according to his purpose I want to be like King David when He said though I walk through the shadow of death I will fear no evil in Jesus name I declare to overcome evil with good.
Let your will be done in my life in Jesus name, Amen.
Father, if it is Your will for me to break this relationship, I end it today to the glory of Your name.
