Prayer For Gods Help
Father,
We praise You for Daniel's life and legacy, that we are able to read and study his life here today. Thank you for the glimpse you give us of his powerfully prophetic life. Thank you for this book of Scripture and how we can see Christ in it. Like Daniel, we know Jesus faithfully endured the punishment for obedience to you. But unlike Daniel, you did not spare him from the mouth of the lions. You let Your Son die a brutal death on the Cross, paying the penalty for our sins, and through his resurrection You've given us eternal life and access to Your glory. Oh Lord thank You!
In every situation in our lives, may we remember that You are sovereign over all. Justice rightfully sits in Your hands, not ours. You are bigger. You are in control. You are omnipotent all-present in times of trouble. Just like Daniel, we can trust You with our lives. It's Your purpose that puts our feet on earth.
May every trial we go through in this life bring us closer to You. Our prayer today is for our enemies, our conspirators, and our foes. We are all imperfect, and You love us all equally. Help us to leave justice at Your feet, seeking peace and the Spirit's sensitivity before lifting the gate on our emotions.
Protect our hearts from bitterness and suspicions, comparison and insecurity. Teach us to be confident in You, alone. Right our hearts to place You at the helm. Bless our minds to run to You for solutions to problems that put our backs up against walls. Help us to resist gossip and slander, blame and unnecessary attacks on the character of others.
May the story of Your angel, who shut the mouths of the lions, help us to remember Your power and promise. When we are in trouble, help us to remember the cross. In the direst situation of all, Christ conquered death.
In a quickly crumbling world, let us be shards of light. May we be peacekeepers, and extensions of Your love. We're not promised this world will be easy or fair, but You guarantee Your presence and Your love. Grant us courage to stick to Your standards. You are good, all the time.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
Help me Lord, and save me from those that are seeking to destroy me. Show me Lord, what You would have me to do. Lord, I want to trust and obey You and to rest my weary soul on You and not rely on my own strength, for there is nothing I can do. I come to You on my knees imploring You Lord, to stand up as my Champion and Defender.
Lord, I find myself into deep trouble for I have been falsely accused and no one seems interested in helping me or able to do anything. And Father, some have even turned their backs on me and are accusing me of falsities.
Lord, You know the truth and I ask that You would vindicate me. Have mercy Lord and help me. Turn Your heart towards me and have pity on me I pray. You are my Advocate and my Helper in time of trouble, and I pray that You would rescue me speedily. Show me Your goodness for the sake of Your holy name, for I trust in You. I pray in Jesus' name,
Amen.
Loving Heavenly Father, You created all things and by Your power all things hold together. According to Your riches in mercy, I pray that You would help me through this very difficult time of my life.
Lord, You know that I have problems within the home and difficulties within the family, as well as financial problems and relationship problems, all of which seem to have hit me hard, at the same time. Lord, I don't know what to do, but my eyes are on You because You have promised to be my help in time of need.
Strengthen me by the might of Your power and help me not to look at the circumstances of life but on You. For I know that Your grace is sufficient for Your power is made perfect in my weakness.
I ask Lord, that I am not overwhelmed by all that is going on, but rather that You would take my life, every part of it, and cover it with Your great grace. Lord, I know that You are able to do the impossible in our lives and are able to do abundantly more than we can ask or think. I place all my troubles on You, for You have promised to carry me and help me in time of need. I ask Lord for Your help in Jesus' name,
Amen.
Surrendering your life to God means following His lead without knowing where He's sending you. You know you've surrendered to God when you rely on Him to work things out instead of trying to manipulate others, force your agenda or control a situation. It's important that you let go and let God work. You don't always have to be in charge or in control. Instead of trying harder, you trust more. If you are looking to surrender your life now to God, turn to this prayer: Dear Lord, it is my will to surrender to you everything that I am and everything that I'm striving to be. I open the deepest recesses of my heart and invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell inside of me. I offer you my life, heart, mind, body, soul and spirit. I surrender to you my past, present and future problems. I ask You to take hold over every aspect of my life. I surrender to You all my hurt, pain, worry, doubt, fear and anxiety, and I ask You to wash me clean. I release everything into Your compassionate care. Amen.
When you are anxious and in a state of inner turmoil, it may impact your health negatively. On the other hand, when you're in a state of inner peace, the body is in a calmed state. Your body functions well and good physical health is promoted. In order to achieve this inner peace, it's important that you trust God in the process. If you are looking for inner healing, turn to this prayer: Almighty and everlasting Lord, I come before You now in great need of Your mercy. You are the doctor and physician of my soul. I humbly ask You to send forth Your healing power into every area of my inner-woundedness. I surrender to You all areas of unforgiveness, especially those hurtful past events where anger and bitterness have been allowed to fester, causing harm to my physical health. I surrender the entire debt of all my injuries into Your merciful hands. I denounce all forms of anger, bitterness and resentment, and command every evil spirit that has entered my body through the lack of forgiveness to leave now and go straight to the feet of my Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, you are the name above every other name. Your name is like a fortified tower in which I can find safety and security. When I am troubled, I can find peace in your name. When I feel weak, I can find strength in your name. When I feel overwhelmed, I can find rest in your name. When I feel surrounded by pressures on every side, I can find stability in your name. Your name is beautiful, Lord, help me to rely on you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
O Lord, my God you are my refuge and my strength. You are my ever-present help in times of trouble. When it seems like my world is crumbling around me and I am thrown around by the storms of my life, take away my fear. When I am weak, you are my strength. When I am vulnerable, you are my refuge. When I cry for help, you will answer. Remind me Lord that you are always with me, you will never leave or forsake me. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
I love You, Jesus. Help.
Those words may be small, but I believe that they are just the same as if they were a spoken novel of all the best heart alliterations, He hears them and responds with all fullness and tenderness of a Savior's love. This simple prayer calls on heaven. It says to God that though our heart is full of love for Him, it is breaking over the frustrations the world is causing us.
This prayer is an abandoned prayer. It is a needy prayer. It is a sweet prayer from a helpless child to a Father fully in control.
Even in this moment as we struggle, we can lift our eyes to the God who loves us. We can lift our face to see Him in the dark, lift our voice to call out to Him for help. He is tender to
our struggle. He is ready to respond to the need.
I love You, Jesus. Help.
