Prayer For Friday Morning
Lord Jesus,
I have not been perfect all through the week
There are days I have sinned against you
You alone see all my iniquities and searches through my heart
But you are merciful; You have not destroyed me because of my sins
The scriptures say, Come now, let us settle the matter. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
Therefore, I come before your presence to cleanse me of my iniquities.
I ask for your love and mercies.
Pardon all my iniquities and grant me more blessings
Thank you gracious father for your forgiveness
Amen
Heavenly father
Thank you for your protection all through this week
Despite the storm and the rain, you have provided shelter for me
Thank you, Lord, for protecting me friends and family
Thank you for my workplace, my academics, and your generosity
Lord Jesus, your word says, It is by your mercies that we are not consumed
Therefore, I come before you with my heart full of thanks
You have protected me all through this week
And as the week comes to an end, I lift my eyes to heaven to appreciate your love towards me

Oh God of love, what a joy to come before you this Friday morning to your presence through the name of our Lord Jesus, thank you for making me see this day that have never seen in my life, I know there is much that you have prepared for me this day, being a day that is preparing me for the weekend I want to thank you for guiding me through the week, despite experiencing ups and down, am grateful that you carried me through me through and made me to see this Friday morning, as I set out to perform the duties of the day, may you guide and protect me through the day, guide me from any harm and danger and above all help me to do all that is ahead of me with a focused mind, help me to get a long well with all the people I will encounter during this day, thank you for your mercies that you renew each morning, be with me during this day as you have promised through the name of our Lord Jesus I pray and believe.Amen
Lord on this day I am aware of the troubles and darkness in our world. Please come and lead me in prayers for my community, my nation and the world. You are the light that shines in the bleakest times, let your Kingdom be built on earth. May those who suffer be comforted, may those who are at war search for peace, and may those who are in pain find healing. Amen.
Merciful God,
When our beggarly heart sits crouched, shut up in a corner,
break open the door and come in.
When desire blinds the mind with delusion and dust,
O holy one, come with your light and your thunder.
When we are disoriented by the vicissitudes of our present lives,
anchor our faith in the one true God with whom all things are possible. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now
and ever shall be world without end, Amen.
Eternal God,
all that exists is simply the breath of your favour.
Our yearning for you is better than all the riches of the world. We can never have enough of you. Can we exist or stay alive without your help or favour?
We know that when we are accepted by you,
what is evil in us becomes good as we become a new creation.
Yet when we reject you, even what is good in us becomes evil.
Have mercy upon us, O God. Amen.
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For You are with me. Heavenly Father, I thank You for the dawn of a new day! Thank You for Your blessings upon my life and my family.
I give You all the praise and honor, because this is the day You've made, and You are mighty and worthy indeed! All honor and glory belongs to You.
With You, I will do the impossible, I will not fail. My past is no longer important, because You, Oh Lord, are my future.
