Prayer For Forgiveness Of Lust
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the blessings that have come down to me from my ancestors on my father's line and my mother's line.
But I also acknowledge that as a result of their sinful beliefs and practices, they had also sinned against you in many ways.
Today I choose to forgive my ancestors for the consequences of their sexual sins that have affected me.
Please break the yoke and power of this generational curse of sexual sins off me.
Please forgive me too for my own sexual sins.
I know I am enslaved to these sins and that I am powerless to deliver myself.
I acknowledge that You can help me and that Jesus have already paid the debt for my sin.
All I need to do is claim it personally, for Jesus, had bore all of my sins, past, present and future when He died for me on the cross.
I accept the gift of grace offered to me through Jesus' sacrificial death.
I thank You that You know everything about me. Help me to be completely truthful with You. I don't need to hide any more.
If I confess my sins, You are faithful and just and will forgive my sins and purify me from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Father, right now I choose to repent and renounce my sins of *(sexual lust / fornication / adultery / mental sexual fantasies and pleasure / pornography / masturbation / lasciviousness / sexual promiscuity / debauchery / sensuality / prostitution / homosexuality / lesbianism / voyeurism / degrading passions / .. / ).

Father, You sent Jesus to rescue me from this body of death!
I don't have to be a prisoner to sin. This battle that rages over my body originates in my mind making me a slave to the sin that is still at work within me.
Right now, I surrender my mind to You.
Please cleanse my mind on the conscious, subconscious and unconscious levels.
Jesus, please Lord over my mind, my thought patterns and attitudes.
You have searched me and You know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways (Psalm 139:1-3).
Come and dwell in me, Lord, by Your Holy Spirit, and set me free to live in Your resurrection life.
Please break the control and manipulation of sexual thoughts and images over my mind, body and sexuality.
Please forgive me and set me free from all consequences of my sins.
Please cleanse me of all defilement of spirit, mind, will, emotions and body.
Cleanse my eyes, ears, hands and sexual organs too.
In Jesus' name, Father, lift off me all sexual spirits of lust.
The reason Jesus appeared was to destroy the devil's work (1 John 3:7-8).
Lord, I have been a willing party to the devil's work. Thank You that You appeared on this earth to die and be raised again to destroy his work.
Please destroy the works the devil has accomplished in me and through me. Set me apart for Your work from now on.
According to Your Word, no one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him (1 John 3:9).
Please help me to understand and admit that I cannot simply go on and on indefinitely in my sin and claim to belong to You.
I acknowledge to You that my body was not meant for sexual immorality, but for You, Lord.
You were meant to take authority over this body and bring it sanctification and meaning.
I know that my body is a member of Christ Himself.
I shall not then take the members of Christ and unite them in ungodly sexual relationships, whether real or virtual (1 Cor 6:13-15).
I renounce the use of my body as an instrument of unrighteousness and by so doing, ask You to break the sexual stronghold that the devil has brought into my life.
Please help me to exercise godly control over my sexual urges.
I have simply misused my body. Please cleanse it for Your use.
I present my body to You as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You and I choose to reserve the sexual use of my body only with my spouse.
In Jesus' name, I renounce the lie of the devil that my body is not clean.
Father, I thank You that You have totally cleansed me unconditionally.
Jesus please Lord over my body and my bodily appetites, my sexuality and sexual expressions.
Therefore, I can now accept myself. And I choose to accept myself and my body as cleansed, in Jesus' name.
I know that my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in me, whom I have received from You. I am not my own; I was bought at a price. Therefore please help me to honour You with my body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Since I have been raised with Christ, help me to set my heart on things above, where Christ is seated at Your right hand, not on earthly things (Colossians 3:1).
Please take my passions and redirect them first toward You. Be the chief focus of all my passions and create a new heart within me.
In Jesus' name. Amen!
The only thing I crave, hunger and thirst after is You Jehovah Nissi. Almighty God, everlasting Father, I know You will help me through this.
I may be human, which makes me weak at times. But I will not yield to temptation or lustful desires, for yielding is sin. I know that I am strong through Christ who gives me strength. Satan shall not prevail!
The works of the wicked shall not prosper, for we are healed, delivered and saved, through the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen and Amen!
Lord, I'm in that place again On my knees Laying my life out before You Thank you that on the cross you cried "It is finished" You have done it Forgiveness is complete I can live forever in Your grace Forever in Your love So I ask now for Your forgiveness For the wrongs that I have done And the things that I have neglected I ask for Your forgiveness For the people I have hurt along the way And those who I have failed to love as You love I ask for Your forgiveness I receive Your forgiveness And resolve in my heart That with Your strength I determine not to make these errors again I receive Your forgiveness And by the power of Your Holy Spirit I walk away from everything I know to be wrong And embrace everything I know about You For the kingdom, the power and the glory Are always and forever Yours Amen
Lord, inflame our hearts and our inmost beings with the fire of Your Holy Spirit, that we may serve You with chaste bodies and pure minds. Through Christ our Lord. Amen
Mary, Mother most pure, and Joseph, chaste guardian of the Virgin, to you I entrust the purity of my soul and body. I beg you to plead with God for me that I may never for the remainder of my life soil my soul by any sin of impurity. I earnestly wish to be pure in thought, word and deed in imitation of your own holy purity. Obtain for me a deep sense of modesty, which will be reflected in my external conduct. Protect my eyes, the windows of my soul, from anything that might dim the luster of a heart that must mirror only Christ-like purity. And when the Bread of Angels becomes my food in Holy Communion, seal my heart forever against the suggestions of sinful pleasures. Finally, may I be among the number of those of whom Jesus spoke, Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God. Amen.
Exalted Creator, I bless Your holy name. I give You all the praise, honor and glory You deserve, for You are Holy and Righteous.
I come before You, gentle Saviour, seeking Your help in battling temptations. Cleanse my mind, my body, my soul, of all lustful desires. Deliver me from the evil one, Yahweh. Protect me from his deceitful lies.
Jesus, I ask your Holy Spirit to help me now remember, confess, and renounce my sexual sins. [Pause. Listen. Remember. Confess and renounce.] Lord Jesus, I ask your forgiveness for every act of sexual sin. You promised that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). I ask you to cleanse me of my sexual sins now; cleanse my body, soul, and spirit, cleanse my heart and mind and will, cleanse my sexuality. Thank you for forgiving me and cleansing me. I receive your forgiveness and cleansing. I renounce every claim I have given Satan to my life or sexuality through my sexual sins. Those claims are now broken by the cross and blood of Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:1315).
Lord Jesus Christ, I confess here and now that you are my Creator (John 1:3) and therefore the creator of my sexuality. I confess that you are also my Savior, that you have ransomed me with your blood (1 Corinthians 15:3, Matthew 20:28). I have been bought with the blood of Jesus Christ; my life and my body belong to God (1 Corinthians 6:1920). Jesus, I present myself to you now to be made whole and holy in every way, including in my sexuality. You ask us to present our bodies to you as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1) and the parts of our bodies as instruments of righteousness (Romans 6:13). I do this now. I present my body, my sexuality [as a man or as a woman] and I present my sexual nature to you. I consecrate my sexuality to Jesus Christ.
