Prayer For Forgiveness For Lying

Lord, today was not a good day for how I treated others. I know I need to apologize. I know that I did that person wrong. I have no excuse for my bad behavior. I have no good reason for harming (him or her). I pray that you place forgiveness on (his or her) heart.

Mostly, though, I pray that you give (him or her) peace for when I do apologize. I pray that I can make the situation right and that I don't give the impression that this is normal behavior for people who love you, Lord. I know you ask that our behavior is a light unto others, and my behavior certainly was not.

Lord, I ask that you give us both the strength to get through this situation and come out the other side better and more in love with you than before.

In your name, Amen.

Lord, please forgive me for what I have done to you. I offer up this forgiveness prayer in hopes that you will look at my mistakes and know that I did not mean to hurt you. I know you know I'm not perfect. I know that what I did went against you, but I hope that you will forgive me, just as you forgive others like me.

I will try, Lord, to change. I will make every attempt to not give into temptation again. I know that you are the most important thing in my life, Lord, and I know that what I did was disappointing.

I ask, God, that you provide me with guidance in the future. I ask for the discerning ear and open heart to hear and feel what you are telling me to do. I pray that I will have the understanding to remember this time and that you give me the strength to go in a different direction.

Lord, thank you for all you do for me. I pray that you pour your grace upon me.

In your name, Amen.

Father, they raise their hand to You and openly admit that they have embellished the facts and exaggerated a number of times.

They ask for forgiveness and repent before You.

This is not acceptable in Your sight and they know it.

They take responsibility for what they presented to other people falsely.

We ask You to help them to stop being dishonest in Jesus Name.

Please help them to stop making excuses for this dishonest behaviour.

Lord, they want to stand before You unashamed of the life they have lived.

They desire to be honest and forthright with You, others, and themselves.

They know they ultimately control what comes forth from their mouth but with Your power working within them through the Holy Spirit, they can control their tongue.

Without You, it is impossible. But with You, all things are possible to them if they believe.

Father, the person I am praying for needs Your help to bring about a real change in this area of their life.

We decree and declare that they speak the truth and that they do not embellish facts or speak lies in Jesus Name.

We decree and declare that when people talk to them, they stick to the facts and they do not exaggerate the truth or twist the facts.

Thank You that with Your help, they can be rest assured that they are honest about themselves and the situations in which they find themselves.

Truth prevails in their life!

Praise You that they keep their nose out of other people's business!

Yes, they focus and keep their focus on their life and the issues that have to do with them and their areas of responsibility.

Since You are their Helper and Your grace is working mightily in them, the person I am praying for is becoming more and more truthful and honest every single day!

We believe and receive everything we've prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!

In the wonderful and precious Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Dear Lord,

Forgive me for the lies I have said. Your Commandments tell us how we are to live, and in my weakness, I have broken them. Lord, You are the Creator, You alone are perfect, without any flaw. I admit it has been easier to lie about something than have to speak the truth. But Lord, I know now that was wrong and ask for Your forgiveness.

I pray for wisdom to know when to remain silent, and the knowledge to know what to say, when I struggle with telling the truth. Guide my words and actions. Keep me on your path, Lord, the path of truth.

I pray and ask, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Dear God, please help me i am in need of desperate help and healing. I have lied alot to all close to me, i pray for your forgiveness. I have made many sins and am very remorseful. The sins i have made and the lies i have told are trying to come back to me. People want to hurt me because of this.

I do ask for your forgiveness but i also ask that none of my lies are revealed in doing so i will not lie again in this way ever. Please forgive me and protect me. I beg of you God, i hope you hear my prayer and watch over me.

I come before you in the name of Jesus and ask for the forgiveness of my sins. Forgive me for all the lies I have ever told anybody.
Forgive me for hiding my sins from you and covering up with excuses thereby grieving the Holy Spirit whom you sent to be my guide and comforter.
Forgive me also for the lies I tell myself thereby opening the doors for the devil to attack my mind and body.
Teach me to speak the truth always and to give honest answer at all times
I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear God, Forgive me for ever telling lies and being deceitful to people and most importantly to those I love.
My heart is heavy and my conscience is filled with guilt.
I know if I do not confess and repent of my sins you will not hear me.
The Bible says that telling lies and being deceitful is one of the detestable sins before you
Also, one of your commandments say that we should not tell lies (Leviticus 19:11) but I have been disobedient and my conscience is filled with guilt, please forgive me..
