Prayer For Fear

Dear God,

I come before You to lay my panic and anxiety at Your feet. When I'm crushed by my fears and worries, remind me of Your power and Your grace. Fill me with Your peace as I trust in You and You alone. I know I can't beat this on my own, but I also know that I have You, Lord, and You have already paid the ultimate price to carry my burdens.

For this I thank you, Amen.

Grow my faith daily Lord. May the Holy Spirit guide me accordingly, as He gives me strength and courage.

Cleanse my heart and my mind of any doubts of Your mighty power to set me free, to deliver me from evil. Be with me as I face these fears, guide me that I may go out in confidence, knowing that You are at my side.

Almighty God,

Beneath your wings
Filled with light
I have no fear.
Wading through truth
Clean and bright
I have no fear.

Dwelling in love
Safe at night
I have no fear.
Soaking in your hope
Eternity sings
I have no fear.

Amen.

Dear Father, My heart and mind are flooded with fears. Sometimes I am paralysed, I feel unable to go on. These fears are overwhelming, they remain with me day and night. Yet I hold onto your truth. You have told us not to fear, for you have overcome the world. So I cling to you, I trust in your promises, that you will never fail me, never forsake me. In moments of such crippling fear, I choose to hold your hand. I know you have experienced the most fearful places, I know that you have risen again. In you all promises meet and new life begins. You are my Saviour, I hide in you, Protected by your love, And sheltered by your grace. My Father. Amen.

I thank the Lord that even when one of our fears comes to pass (enter
in the fear), God has a plan to overcome and give victory. If we remain
true like Job and state yet though he slay me, I will trust him (Job
13:15), the Lord gives and takes away, praise be to the name of the
Lord (Job 1:21), that I will not curse God and die (Job 2:9), and I will
continue to trust God when we have little strength (Revelation 3:8),
God restores what was lost (Joel 2:2526). These are opportunities to
practice more patience, love, grace and peace, and to say, Peace be
unto you after we have fled. Lord, help me to reflect on Philippians
4:7 to be anxious over nothing. Satan will lie and exaggerate the consequences of realized fear to keep us in bondage. The spilling of the
blood of Jesus cleaned up my sins and failures (those I can see, and
those of the spirit that I cannot) and allows us to work out our salvation in (eustress) fear and trembling. Lord, use my failures and thorns
in the flesh to keep me humble. As Martin Luther spilled wine during
his communion service and learned self-grace, help me to practice and
grow in silencing the accusing voice. Place all my sins into perspective
as the blood covers them. Help me to practice making sacrifices for
the greater good. Lord, it is not about my image, my pride, or my
success. My past sins and failures are done and let us be going toward
the future holding the Lord's hand!

Praise God, I pray for the strength to be thankful for today and the
moment, to enjoy the now in the midst of challenges, and to thank
God for his favor and grace. Lord, help me to focus on what the Holy
Spirit is doing in my life and starve the flesh. Praise God, I am not
alone in my fight against fear; I have the Holy Spirit and the angels.
The Holy Spirit and the angels are standing with me and in me. Thank
you, Lord, for the one-step victories in my life, not perfect obedience, not perfect performance, not human perfect peace, not my righteousness, but the righteousness by faith in Jesus and his grace. I
thank you, Jesus, that you make allowance for my weaknesses failures,
sins, doubts, unbelief, and when fear controls my thoughts and
actions. Help me to reject arguing or debating with the devil, my
flesh, and my guilty conscience and fall upon the love, grace, mercy,
peace, and the righteousness of Jesus who is our shield and redeemer.
Thank you, Lord, for helping me overcome and deliver me from my
fear of (enter in the areas of your struggle). Help me to respect my
enemies and be as wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove.

Dear Heavenly Father, You tell us so many times in Your Word to Fear Not and so often I find myself allowing my imagination to run wild, causing worry and anxiety to rise up in my heart, for fear of what is happening in the world today.
Lord, I know that You do not want us to allow fear to overtake us, but rather that we rest in Your love and allow Your peace to fill and flood our troubled hearts, and I know that Your Word tells us very plainly that You remain sovereign in our lives and also in the world situation too.
Thank You, that You are my refuge and strength, my rock and high tower. Thank You, that You have promised to give us Your perfect peace in our hearts, when we focus our minds on You. Help me I pray, to learn to look beyond the difficulties in life to You, and help me to claim the many precious promises that are Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus.
Thank You, that You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us, and thank You that You are an ever present help in time of trouble. And Lord, I pray that You would embolden my heart when my spirit is flagging, knowing that You have promised that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness. Praise Your holy name.
Amen.

Thank You, Lord, that we are not to fear, knowing that You are with us in every activity and circumstance of life. Thank You for Your promise to strengthen us and uphold us with Your righteous right hand.
Thank You, that You have said that You will never to leave us nor forsake us and thank You Father, that You have redeemed us with the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and that we are Your children, forever.
Thank You that our lives are hid with Christ in God, and that because of His great and precious sacrifice we are accepted in Him and clothed in His perfect righteousness.
Thank You, that no matter what difficulties arise in life You have promised to be there to uphold and rescue us, and thank You that You are ever faithful and that Your loving-kindness and tender-mercies towards us are new every morning. Praise Your holy name. In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.
