Prayer For Eyesight
Compassionate and Gracious God, all power and might are in your hands. Whatever your hand touches changes for the better. Father, my vision is failing each day. Things are becoming dim, and light is that turning into darkness. The optician has said that I might end up becoming blind if this condition keeps getting worse. I am so scared; I do not want to become blind. Come to my rescue, dear Lord, touch my eyes with your powerful hands and help me to see clearly again. May the challenges I am going through work out for my good and the glory of your holy name. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
I come to you for you to protect my eyesight and to heal the illness in my eyes. O St Lucy, preserve the light of my eyes so that I may see the beauties of creation, the glow of the sun, the colour of the flowers and the smile of children.

I lift up to your hands my eyes.
Please grant my petition.
To recover my lost sight ( right eye).
And pls protect my left eye.
All this I ask in the Mighty name of Jesus tru the intercesion of St. Lucy.
I claim that my eyes will be restore to full vision.
Nothing is impossible with God.

O! Glorious St Lucy, Virgin and Martyr, you greatly glorified the Lord by preferring to sacrifice your life rather than be unfaithful. Come to our aid and, through the love of this same most loveable Lord, save us from all infirmities of the eyes and the danger of losing them.
Through your powerful intercession, may we spend our life in the peace of the Lord and be able to see Him with our transfigured eyes in the eternal splendour of the Celestial Homeland. Amen.
Dear God ,
I thank you for all you do for me but today I come to ask you for help. In the seventh grade I was told that I was nearsighted and that I needed to wear glasses . It's been three years since and I still wear glasses 20/50 vision. I feel non beautiful with low self esteem because of it so Lord God I come to you today just to ask that you will please give me my 20/20 normal vision back along with my confidence , I hope I'm not asking for too much but Jesus that's all I'm asking for . I just wanna see clearly again . Amen
O St Lucy, you preferred to let your eyes be torn out instead of denying the faith and defiling your soul; and God, through an extraordinary miracle, replaced them with another pair of sound and perfect eyes to reward your virtue and faith, appointing you as the protector against eye diseases. I come to you for you to protect my eyesight and to heal the illness in my eyes.
O St Lucy, preserve the light of my eyes so that I may see the beauties of creation, the glow of the sun, the colour of the flowers and the smile of children.
Preserve also the eyes of my soul, the faith, through which I can know my God, understand His teachings, recognise His love for me and never miss the road that leads me to where you, St Lucy, can be found in the company of the angels and saints.

O God, our Father, mercifully hear our prayer as we venerate Your servant, Saint Lucy, for the light You gave her.
Shed Your light in our souls, O Lord, that we may be able to avoid evil, do good, and hate nothing so much as the blindness and darkness of evil and sin.
Relying on Your goodness, O God, we humbly ask You through the intercession of Saint Lucy, to strengthen our eyesight and protect us from any loss of vision.
May our eyes serve for Your greater honor and glory and the salvation of all, that we may come to enjoy together the unfailing light of the Lamb of God in Paradise.
O Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr, hear our prayer and obtain our petitions.

Jesus, the Great Physician, you are my healer and the giver of life. You are the same God today, yesterday and forever. I believe that you can restore my eyesight the same way you healed blind people in the Bible. Lord, I know that it is not your wish for me to go blind; this is the plan of the enemy. Please restore my eyesight that I may be able to see clearly. May my vision get better each waking moment. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
