Prayer For Faculty Meeting

Heavenly Father, we come to you today asking for your guidance, wisdom, and support as we begin this meeting. Help us to engage in meaningful discussion; allow us to grow closer as a group and nurture the bonds of community. Fill us with your grace, Lord God, as we make decisions that might affect the students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends of Saint Louis University. And continue to remind us that all that we do here today, all that we accomplish, is for the pursuit of truth for the greater glory of You, and for the service of humanity. We ask these things in your name, Amen.

Lord, as we plan and share together now, may you guide us by your Holy Spirit and lead us into all truth. Lord, as we go into this meeting, we place ourselves before You, for You are filled with the beauty and light and care deeply about us. ... May Your Spirit guide us. May Your grace abound in is.

Loving heavenly Father, We come to you this hour asking for your blessing and help as we are gathered together. We pray for guidance in the matters at hand and ask that you would clearly show us how to conduct our work with a spirit of joy and enthusiasm. Give us the desire to find ways to excel in our work.

Almighty God,
Your truth is like light showing us the way to live our lives.
As members of the family of Church schools within this
diocese, grant that we may follow Jesus in all we say and
do. We ask this in His name, Amen.

We ask for God's blessing on our
Foundation and its family of schools.
Lord; grant us the will to work together,
the wisdom to listen to each other's views
and the insight to plan together,
in recognition of our role in supporting one another.
Help us to build a family of schools for Northampton
that supports the development of each individual child,
offers a stimulating working environment for staff
and provides a focus for the local community.
Let our schools become an example of
Christian witness in our world
and Christian roots in our communities.
Amen

O God, creator and sustainer of life, we give you thanks for the bounty of grace and
blessings that come from your hand. We express gratitude for life, and health, and well
being. We thank you for meaningful work to do and the opportunities we have to teach
and to transform the lives of students that you have placed within our sphere of influence.
We thank you for opportunities to serve others, particularly those who are in need of
comfort, of material goods, of companionship, of hope. Bear fruit in us and through us, O
God, as we seek to serve the world in which we live in your name.
Bless our times of thanksgiving with family and friends and call us to a life consistent
with gratitude and in response to your grace.
In the name of Jesus, for whom we give thanks, amen.

For it is in giving that we receive

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.

And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

In the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit
Amen.

Lord of all,

Be Lord in our school. We ask for your presence to be with us as we meet today.
May we be aware of your Lordship, that we serve you, your love and your children. Inspire our thoughts, discussions and ideas as we seek to work together to ensure that our school is your school.

Amen.
